   I have sold a property and purchased a property through Rix and Kay and I would recommend them whole heartedly. They were thorough and honest with me throughout the whole process. I would say that they don't communicate a huge amount and I had to chase a few times but when I did responses were always within 1-2 days at the beginning and within half a day towards completion. From the 2 property sales I had it felt much more like they were just heads down trying to get the work done as quickly and efficiently as possible rather than sending meaningless updates which overall I preferred. Hearing so many horror stories around solicitors it was nice to have a team that just got their head down and did the work.

   Over the years we have enlisted the help of many different solicitors and to be honest never been entirely happy with any of them. That changed when we asked Rix and Kay to act for us recently in a complicated conveyancing transaction. Communication was excellent, we always got a quick response. Due to the pending increase in interest rates we were operating to a strict time limit. Angela Arnold was brilliant and was often working on our case way after normal office hours. From first contact with our purchasers solicitor to completion of both sale and purchase it took merely 8 weeks. That is incredible in these times. Angela’s assistant Jordan also served us well. At all times the team at Rix and Kay were cordial and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend them. Equity release experts.

   Disappointed and annoyed Having used this firm many times I thought I would continue to offer them my business. Sadly my contact has left, along with the good service. After emailing my enquiry, chasing for a reply several times, speaking to Angela Arnold and Francesca Cranford to progress, I have received nothing? I have emailed my complaint and received no reply? I like to use reviews to praise good service but also when the opposite. If they are not interested they should have the courtesy to say so and not waste my time.

   Have just used the services of Rix & Kay for selling our property and have used the services of the company in the past also. As usual they are professional, helpful, & knowledgeable. Right from the start Angela & Francesca were helpful and Francesca being the voice of calm and reason at the end of the phone and took every step in a controlled way with everything no trouble what so ever.. We are also buying a property and using there services again. I would not hesitate to recommend them .
