Very impressed by Ronnie, the salesman. He was knowledgeable about the mattresses and had a unique way of explaining, what could have been a mind blowing amount of information, in a way that was easily understood. Approachable, a listener, as well as a good salesman. Ronnie was obviously very proud of his showroom. Would hesitate to recommend Ronnie.
We spoke to a knowledgeable salesman, Ronnie Miah, who quickly ascertained our needs and got straight to the point. One cannot mess with choosing a new mattress, and Ronnie put us at ease and spoke insightfully about our various options. My wife and I now await the delivery of our bespoke mattress.
We visited the Newhaven store on the 24th November to look for a new bed with the Black Friday promotions on. Ronnie the salesman was brilliant - they checked to see if we needed any help, answered all our questions, gave us space when needed and managed to assist us without us feeling pressured into buying a more expensive bed, or making an unneccessary purchasing decision. The whole buying experience was excellent, so could highly recommend based on our experience - now comes the difficult bit waiting for delivery of the new bed.
I purchased two mattresses in Dec 23. I visited the showroom in Newhaven and was offered great information and advice. I spent a lot of time choosing and trying them out, and felt no pressure to hurry or to make a purchase. Delivery was easy and everyone has been helpful from start to finish. We now have two mattresses that suit us perfectly, and I am really pleased. I highly recommend Sussex Beds - its great to buy from a smaller business and I feel I got the more personal level of service that you just don't get with a big chain. Thank you. I just wanted to send you an email to highlight the absolutely impeccable service we received from Steve at the Newhaven branch. We came to look at a mattress for a eldery friend who has been in hospital for the past three months as is currently at the local rehabilitation unit after an illness. She is due to move into a new flat and needs to buy a lot of things. We came into the store and Steve listened was amazing, I explained the situation to him and he was so attentive and kind. She has only been out of hospital on a handful of occasions and hasn’t slept on a proper bed in a long time so to come away from the store yesterday, having purchased a mattress, and feeling confident and excited about moving into her new home was wonderful. I have spent the past year watching her deteriorate slowly and now she is on the mend to have someone so lovely help us was just amazing. I worked in retail for many years in London and have managed some fine employees but Steve possessed something that is hard to always find. Genuine customer care and honesty. I hope that he continues to be able to provide that service for your company for many years to come.
