   Brighton Bed Centre is the best bed company I have ever come actoss. The service provided by Stuart and Connor is second to none the products are amazing and the service is both personal and professional. The bed frames, headboards and mattresses are all made to order by hand in the factory next door to the shop and are of a quality I had not dreamed still existed and at very reasonable prices. Thanks to this local firm that supplies beds all over the country you really can have the bed of your dreams!

   We run an Airbnb and have bought three beds from this family run business ranging in price from 400 for a double to 800. All of them are exceptionally comfortable and we constantly rave reviews citing the mattress! They make the mattresses in the little workshop next door using Welsh wool. I’d say that their 400 quid mattress is better than our 2000 vispring mattress. Can’t recommend them highly enough!!

   We bought an oversized European bed in Germany and wanted two similar beds made at this shop. I brought photos and measurements along to the first appointment and I said that I would like to have it replicated: base, spring mattress and a solid topper to put the fitted sheet over. After a rather interesting sales pitch with lots of special offers and reductions, I received an even more confusing, hand written recipe. I couldn’t decipher any measurements (or anything else) but I had given them requirements. It took weeks and lots of chasing up and excuses before we got the first two beds. When we finally received the beds, they were ridiculous high! Much higher than the desks of the kids!! The topper was the opposite of what we discussed and it wouldn’t hold the fitted sheet. It was a mattress protector and not what we had discussed. I had to paid for new bases although I gave the measurements to them at the beginning. Someone with a bit of experience would have instantly picked up on the wrong dimensions. New base: too low but my handyman attached feet to the beds. Still no fitting topper and we were left with the protectors. The base, mattress and topper keep sliding away as there is no gritty surface. In the end, I had toppers made which cost us £600 each. The handyman has been trying to make the beds work for over 1,5 years now, the backboard is still very wobbly and we are very tired of pushing two beds and their parts in the right position every single morning. The beds have been our worst purchase in forever and a daily nuisance. I’m shocked by the incompetence of this place and we finally decided to chuck them away. What a waste of time and money. How can you get it so very wrong with precise measurements and how can the quality be so poor?! Shocking.

   I needed an ottoman bed as I needed more storage so went to the Brighton Bed Centre to see if they had what I was after. They certainly did - they supply every style, colour, size etc that you may wish for. Stuart talked me through and showed me various options and then left me to try them all out in my own time, with no pressure to buy. He is a gentleman and the service he provides is first class, from ordering to delivery and construction of the bed and any resolution of queries you may have. It really is unusual to come across such brilliant service in this day and age and I really cannot recommend them, and Stuart, highly enough. A very happy customer.

   What a great place to shop for a bed I was made to feel very welcome, I tried 3 or 4 beds with plenty of time to lay on them, not being hurried or forced to make a decision. Stuart was very knowledgeable about the brands and gave great advice, he answered every question I had, unlike the larger furniture stores. I would never go anywhere else now after my experience. I highly recommend, you will not regret it.

   I arrived to this shop late on a Saturday after a day of bed shopping in Brighton/ Portslade area. I was keen to give this place a try having read all the brilliant google reviews. The reviews are warranted in my opinion. I received excellent customer service. Friendly staff. It's lovely that the Brighton bed centre is a long standing family run business with lots of repeat customers and they've also won lots of awards. The bed was delivered on Tuesday and am very pleased with it. I can highly recommend to check out this place if you need a new bed.
