This new stores looks great BUT Staff do not want to work. It was not busy, on week day, but none of the staff wanted to get shoes. When they did the second shoe missing and no one wanted to try and find it. Went up to Diechman had alternative NIKE shoe and bought them there. Needs staff training or better leadership.

Despite people claiming staff are rude I find them ok. The only issue for me here is the price, a basic t-shirt £40, trainers are just so expensive.

Just got home after visiting. Did an online shop return really easily and then tried to buy a pair of £70 trainers for my daughter. Asked a lady for her size then sat down for fifteen minutes waiting. Asked her at this point if it normally took this long and she radioed the guy she had asked to sort it out. Shoes eventually came with a guy who didn’t know what belts are for as his jeans were secured under his bum cheeks. His underpants thankfully looked clean. The shoes were too big so we asked to try a smaller size. Ten minutes later he reappeared with shoes for another customer so we got up and left at that point. Absolute waste of time. Lady on the shop floor could have mucked in to help the customers that were waiting. Will go to Skechers tomorrow. Much better service and I don’t have to see peoples underwear. I was also going to buy a coat so you lost a decent sale there.

Good price on some trainers, only second time been in here to buy & both times been in sale, find it a bit expensive otherwise. Edited review: we have been in JD a few times now, as i noticed they are definitely cheaper than what they were, have purchased a couple of adidas tops for both of us, & a few mckenzie t-shirts for the husband. Bought a pair of trainers each yesterday in Northampton, very good price, definitely comparable with sports direct now for same prices, & theres a loyalty card to download as well for cash towards future purchases, but can't comment on that as have not looked at it yet.

I went into the store for a simple exchange as the coat I bought my son was faulty (splitting at a seam). The coat wasn't stocked any longer so fair play they have had to send it away to get examined by their head office for a refund. But getting to this decision was hard work, a black-haired lady behind the desk was patronising and displaying attitude the whole way through. It was completely unnecessary and uncomfortable.

Categorically the worst customer experience EVER, The staff are so rude, lazy, they just stand around thinking they look good! Thought it might just be my local branch but its the same everywhere I go, Take my hard earned cash elsewhere now

Justin, was so patient and polite with my order I returned from offline and reordered the sizes I needed that were not available in store. Took a little while but he was more than happy to help made life a little easier rather than me getting a refund and reordering myself. Top customer service from this young man
