    Staff quite pushy but want to help. Far too many of them in the store so didn’t feel like we could browse. Asked to see a sofa and were asked immediately if we wanted to go for it after sitting on it for 5 seconds. We were then lied to and told ‘we can get it faster if you order it in store’ while the consultant was quite clearly just looking at the website. Wouldn’t mind if they were upfront and said it would help the store/them if we ordered it in store but the pressure we felt meant we just ordered it online instead. Also told that ‘the same discounts never appear again’ only to see that a few weeks later it was on for exactly the same price anyway. Not naive and I’m aware it’s a sale tactic plus we were going to buy the sofa regardless but it left a sour taste in our mouths! Think the store needs to catch up with modern shopping and stop using these outdated tactics to earn commission.

    Walked around store felt pressured by salesman,told him we were looking he kept on about getting finance agreement signed there and then as I enquired about finance.i said no we were discussing things at home but would be back.not good enough he came back to us smelling of smoke obviously fag break and then continued to say if we didn't sign price could go up and could wait longer for items? To also say if we did finance there then we could cancel if change our minds.so desperate for a sale.well hard luck we spent our money elsewhere..disgusting service need retraining..

    Very pushy! Even when we said we needed to think about it the man kept on trying to get us to sign up for finance. Wouldn’t come back.

    Absolutely awful Absolutely awful service, products. We ordered a huge solid oak table and 6 chairs, on arrival the table leg had a huge dent down the side and paint work chipped, finallly got a replacement leg out after much back and forth and then that arrived in even worse condition than the previous one. They offered a £70 refund for this instead of replacing yet again, one of the chairs had a split down the side so we also got that replaced. Had to deal with tonnes of packaging ourselves and take to a tip run despite this being a premium service the delivery people wouldn’t take it back. A second chair leg has now split in half, customer service arranged a replacement to be sent out and made us wait in all day, had a set time slot and that time had passed and no replacement parcel in sight and after calling customer service they are now not responding to get it re delivered and we have a broken unusable chair absolutely disgusting customer service and 0 help at all. Might aswell be throwing your money down the drain!

    Very warmly welcomed into the store by one of the staff members on the floor. Explained what we wanted and the staff member couldn't have been more helpful - very well clued up in what the store had to offer and where it all was to direct us to each item which would fit what we were after. Also needed it relatively quickly to which we were also kindly assisted with (guiding us on when certain models and fabrics of furniture would be able to be delivered). Compared to other local stores this is a glowing beacon that I couldn't recommend any more. Great staff and great environment. Will be back in the future I'm sure.

    We were in the area sofa shopping at some nearby stores and had pretty much decided to buy one elsewhere. We thought we would just pop in to Oak Furnitureland after seeing a sofa sign in the window - just in case. In all honesty; we were expecting very few options and huge price tags but this was not the case! We had no idea they would have such a large selection of sofas - all apparently built with the same decent quality as their solid oak furniture. Our 'quick browse' turned into "please sign here" thanks to Dexter (a very professional and likeable member of the sales team). We had a great buying experience with friendly, knowledgeable staff (no pushy pressure selling at all). Top stuff - Recommended!

    Ordered two sofa beds about 6 weeks ago as they said they could be delivered within a month. Two weeks ago they arrived but the delivery men refused to carry them to the room which is the service we paid for so the sofas went back. Last Friday October 30th they were delivered again BUT only one of the two sofa’s. The delivery guys were great and put it in the room. I was promised a call on the Monday, never happened. Tried following up but did not get any answers. Going to cancel the order and go with another sofa company. UPDATE: still do not have our second sofa. We have now been told December but let’s see. The worst Serivce do not buy from these guys

    Dexter the sales guy very helpful and knowledgeable, I'm sure we ended up buying our sofa because of him! after looking around at many options..Not pushy and had a great all round attitude. Now for the delivery.. Hope that goes as well :)

    Horrendous service. Won't be using again. We purchased a solid oak table and 8 chairs from these guys for the princely sum of around £2000. The guys helping us, in particular Nathan, was very helpful and friendly, so no fault there. We waited around three weeks. First, they delivered the completely wrong colour - oddly, the chairs were correct, but the table was not. Okay, human error perhaps.. we were annoyed, but it happens. That being said, we were still expected to take the time out of our days for THEIR mistake. We had to go and dispose of all the cardboard, polystyrene and various packaging since they stated they would not need it upon collection, and the drivers wouldn't accept it unless it was a 'premium service'. (My dad has undergone chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant within the last few months, so the last thing he really needs is to be driving around during a pandemic with his very weak immune system, fixing other people's oversights....) Today, whilst picking up this rogue miscoloured table and replacing it with the correct one, the delivery driver then told us that all of these tables that are returned, even for as something as simple as the wrong colour, are marked as 'red' and sent off somewhere up north to be sold at half the price. Definitely what you want to hear after you just dropped two grand on one. The tables are made in Vietnam, so I guess they still make a profit even at half the price. Now, we have just received the replacement table, and not only did it come without any 'fixing kit' (aka screws), there's a bloody great crack running down one corner of it, and despite what the driver had mentioned, the package looks like it had been resealed to be sent to us. So, yet again, we are having to deal with the copious amounts of packaging, and trying to get through to customer service (we were told it can take 2 hours to get through...) so that they can once again collect this table and sort out yet another one.. hopefully this time, the item that we paid for - a brand new table in the correct colour. Imagine that?! At this point, I'm contemplating ​growing my own bloody oak trees and assembling my own table. Buyer beware.
