I was looking to remodel my kitchen and came across DS Home, and I was pleasantly surprised. The level of service they provided was exceptional, something you don’t often encounter. They presented me with numerous options, always making sure we were fully satisfied with the final result, no matter our budget. It was clear they were genuine and not trying to upsell or take advantage of us, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Jimmy was involved from start to finish, ensuring everything went smoothly. What a pleasure it was to work with him! The quality of the kitchens is superb, they’re Italian-made, and I was blown away by the finishes and craftsmanship, especially for the price. The installers were fantastic. They paid attention to every detail, finishing the work to perfection while listening to our ideas and concerns. When I found out they also do wardrobes, I knew I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again for that as well. I would recommend DS Home without hesitation. They treat you like family, they listen to you, and for me, that’s incredibly important. Thank you to the entire team!
I have done a full renovation project on my holiday home and the team at DS Home was incredibly helpful. Some bumps along the way were dealt with very professionally and the installation team was excellent and maintained the area clean relatively to other workers in the property, which was a massive issue for me. I love my new kitchen and bedroom. They are exactly as I envisioned this house to be like, the design was exactly what I wanted, and the quality is amazing. All my internal doors were also purchased from them, and they match the kitchen perfectly. Overall, I am incredibly happy with the work done and the final result.
Extremely satisfied with my kitchen provided and installed by DS Home direct. We carried out a full house renovation in 2018 and got the Kitchen installed in November 2018. It has been almost 5 years and my kitchen cabinets, doors and shelves still look and work as if the kitchen was just installed. The quality of the cabinet and doors is truly superior, these are thicker than the standard kitchens found in Uk, making the units strong and long lasting. The internal shelves (in every cabinet) do not bend which is a feature hard to find, all my shelves are heavily loaded with plates, pans etc and the internal shelves are still perfectly straight. The service provided by the kitchen designer Jimmy was excellent. He was clear from the beginning in pricing, delivery and installation timings. During installation, everything was done on time, tidy and professionally. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Absolutely terrible company, unprofessional staff, went past all deadlines and did not supply a single correct item that we agreed to. Initial consultation was promising, urged us to order kitchen as soon as possible and said it will be ready in 6 weeks. We ended up waiting for 6-7 months and instead of saying honestly, they kept on lying that there is problem in production etc. This is not taking into account that installation took 2 months (which was promised to be 1-2 weeks), the way they work is put few things together for it to look as it is nearly finished and then disappear for a week or so without any explanations or saying they got other jobs to do. We ordered internal doors from them and they messed up the size and called me and said they will have to cut out bigger entrances (when everything was already finished) I said no, they have to do it on their end, as a result I waited 1 month extra and they still delivered wrong doors and had to cut entrances and we had to do plastering yet again. Kitchen came with chipped doors in various places and some huge scratches on surface, which we did not notice as it was covered in protective plastic and we been told not to remove it. When kitchen was finished and we removed it, we were blamed for it. Even though after several discussions they agreed to split the cost of new kitchen doors with me, it is taking another 5 months now and they are telling me they do not have specifications of my kitchen doors and I need to send them pictures, which is ridiculous given they were the ones who done this kitchen, just shows how careless they are. All LED lighting on all shelves and mirrors were incorrect (wrong light temperature), even though was discussed during numerous consultations. They will tell you that this is manufacturing specification, that is how they do it (without agreeing this with you). We ended up finding excellent electrician who redone all the LEDs It is extremely difficult to get hold of them after you paid money, you will keep chasing them day in day out and instead them saying that something is going to take certain amount of time from the outset, they will keep lying. Dimitrios (also known as Jimmy) can talk well and sell, but is extremely unprofessional and rude. Our very last interaction I had to ask him to leave my property to which he said “No” and only when I started recording him on my phone he left. He lied that he needed photos for warranty (which turned out not to be true), he wanted photos for his portfolio which I did not allow due to all the issues he caused and disgusting attitude toward us. I am pretty sure they will reply to this review and lie about the facts again, but I have photo and email evidence of everything I said here. I would advise to anyone looking for this type of service to avoid at all costs and find better company like we did, where you get service you expect.
Very friendly staff, great value and fabulous designs.
A terrible experience from start to finish. Poor communication, poor workmanship, left a mess, things left unfinished, changed the design without finalising it with me, the list goes on. I couldn't honestly recommend. The one positive is that the units are lovely, really good quality. I was really disappointed, as I was very hopeful and the initial consultation had seemed very promising.
No need to go anywhere else. What else is there to say !
