   Highly recommend Kitchen Carousel. We've really enjoyed the collaborative process – Stephen brought great ideas to the table and was happy to indulge some of our more out-there requests. The end product is beautiful, without the bespoke price tag. We also recommend Stephen's builders, Sam and Rick. They have been great - very reliable and respectful. We've enjoyed the process so much we will end up using all of them for the rest of house - utility, wardrobes etc. Very glad we spotted Kitchen Carousel in the Lewes News!

   We were looking to change our current kitchen outlook, which consisted mainly of dark cupboard panel fronts and a worktop that was not as we wished. We also wanted to increase the natural light and airiness available throughout the kitchen. We noticed Stephen Hamilton’s advert in a local Post and invited Stephen around to see what he could suggest and what he could offer us. Stephen is a very energetic person and quickly came up with various options and suggestions as to a revised kitchen layout and suggestions as to what materials and colours could be used to increase the lighting aspect within the kitchen. After several visits by Stephen where we finalised the layout and materials we gave Stephen the go ahead to proceed. Stephen and his team are excellent craftsmen and we were delighted with the quality of the kitchen cupboards, layout and how they were fitted. Well done Stephen and your team for an excellent job well done.

   We are so pleased that we decided to go with Kitchen Carousel for our kitchen refurb. After deciding not to extend as originally planned we knew we needed the best advice as to how to use our space well. Stephen came in full of ideas and quickly gave us choices for lay outs which we had not considered. He was happy to rise to the challenge of our idea to put our boiler outside and made this possible. And despite the setbacks that all projects of this nature will face he came through with solutions every time. His team were all friendly, thoughtful and a pleasure to have in the house. The quality of the kitchen cupboards are fantastic and fitted by a craftsman who clearly took great pride in his work. I do feel they will last a very long time. We love using our new space and I wholeheartedly recommend Stephen and his team.

   We knew that our 30 year old kitchen, with 3 doors leading into it, two 3 metre high windows opposite each other, dated worktops and a 4 oven Aga was going to be tricky to renovate but Stephen approached the task with confidence and imagination. He spent time ensuring that the glass splashback, would match the burgundy Aga and sent a sample to a couple of places before being happy with the result. He was very patient and delayed things while we tried to decide what to do when we realised an eye level oven, which I was determined to have, despite Stephen warning me against it, wasn’t going to work. We are delighted with our new kitchen and can thoroughly recommend Stephen and his team.

   Unfortunately i cannot recommend. The kitchen fitting itself is ok and Stephen is amiable enough. However, he has terrible communication. Don't expect anything to be done remotely on time. It's a year since my kitchen was done and am still waiting final sign off, with several items yet to be sorted out. A shame as most of the work was of a reasonable standard.

   I first used Stephen Hamilton in the early 90s to create an Ash kitchen & that is still working very well according to the present owner. I am delighted with my latest kitchen as well. You don't have to stick to standard sizes so it maximises the space and the dovetailed ply drawers, oak shelves and painted ash doors are both beautiful and robust. It will easily outlast a high street kitchen and yet cost a similar price in my case. The fitters worked hard and with great attention to detail to give a stunning finish. Highly recommended.

   We had a 16 year old oak kitchen that had suffered wear and tear from a growing family and two dogs! It looked shabby and very, very tired. Stephen and his team were able to skilfully restore the kitchen to look like new - a brilliant transformation. The team also built us new shelves that match the kitchen perfectly. The team was great - everyone was courteous, mindful of our needs and tidy. The whole team demonstrated that customer satisfaction was central to what they do. I would highly recommend Stephen and his team.

   The best kitchen and refurbishment specialist in Sussex. Stephen is thoughtful, accommodating, and fairly priced. The quality of his work is superb. He came up with such imaginative designs and then executed them perfectly. He has a really good team of people and they are all tidy, polite and thoughtful. I would highly recommend him.
