   Had a family Boxing day dinner here. Some had the carvery, others ordered from the menu in advance. It was very nice. The service was very good, especially Connor, the young man working the carvery. He was so pleasant, full of energy and chatty. Great experience.

   A nice carvery and will visit again, I was in the area and went on a Sunday and it was not busy, there were plenty of seating and lots of choice of vegetables on the carvery deck.

   The family enjoyed a straightforward good pub lunch. Fish and chips, gammon steak, a noodle dish and chicken. Very reasonably priced in a pleasant public house. Very friendly staff and considering the pub was also catering for Sunday lunch ( unfortunately we didn't know about this so hadn't booked) the food service was fairly prompt,we didn't have a long wait.

   We just left a different pub we decided not to eat at due to atmosphere and overpriced. This place I can honestly say the staff and service was the best and most accommodating I have ever witnessed. The kindness and communication skills was slim to none. The team you could see it's an atmosphere here that is very comforting. The food was beautiful. A couple of suggestions was the gravy was very thin and roasts was very lightly cooked taking away from the feeling of a roast potato. We are meatfree and the chef even took his time to talk to us about the gravy content. My 11 year old daughter spoke of how kind the server was and how it was nice to see the staff paying interest in the customers unlike the other establishment we left which she described " just about the money " Thanking you

   I felt really relaxed in the pub. We had two drinks and food and top quality. The waitress is really lovely and friendly. Would come again. I noticed it changed a lot since we came 4 years ago. To be honest I recommend it.

   Went here on Sunday for a carvery and have to say the food was absolutely lovely. Staff were lovely and so helpful and considering it was massively busy, they managed to do an amazing job at serving everyone quickly and getting our food to us all at the same time! The only fault would be the greedy customers who pinched all the mint sauce but the food was delicious without it. Would definitely recommend and we will certainly be going back

   I have been taking my Grandaughrter since it first opened . It has had a few managers in that time . I have had the same table for years due to my granddaughter's complex needs sever autism etc she is used to that particular table it's out of the way of groups of people she cannot cope with crowded places . However just been informed by New Manager we can no longer have said table as there being let down with bookings & people walking out etc !! . So unfair if could not make would ring to let them no . We arrive at 12.30 & are no more than 45 minutes in total . What's happened to empathy .compassion & welcoming your regulars with respect . Jess you were amazing I only wish there was more like you . You are missed . One disappointed upset customer hopefully said Manager will not stay long & someone take over who understands & wants to help Children with Disabilities !!

   Lovely place inside and out. Really helpful staff who made us very welcome. I am gluten free and my choice of food was adjusted to suit this.Covid aware. Families and couples etc catered for. Cannot fault.
