I had my blow-dry appointment with Macy today. I have very long and thick hair and the appointment took longer than it was supposed to, but Macy was very kind and patient throughout the whole appointment, and made sure I was happy with my hair!
I had my first ever appointment in John Olivers, Elm Hill for a Cut + Blow Dry and I was very happy with the experience. Giles' hands are magical, it was super relaxing, he knew exactly what I was looking for, understood my hair and delivered beautifully. 10/10 for the haircut and blow dry. Taking nothing away from the overall experience which was lovely, it would have been nice to have been offerred a tea or coffee by one of the other staff.
First proper salon experience (I usually go to a barber,have short back and sides then go) and I really enjoyed it! Friendly staff, comfortable experience and a generous supply of coffee!
An excellent salon, in a historic setting with highly trained, very friendly and professional staff. Leah, who qualified just over a year ago, was thoroughly prepared. She took time to find out exactly how I wanted my very curly hair to be cut, coloured and blow dried straight. The result was perfect and I'll definitely be going back. Even the coffee is a cut above!
Abi at John Olivers is a brilliant hairdresser - efficient, listens to you, chats but not too much, works very fast. My hair looks amazing after a cut and colour, highly recommended!!
A massive thankyou to hairstylist Leah! She really listened to all the questions I asked her, gave me some great suggestions and easy-to-follow styling tips that helped me decide on which hair cut to go for, then beautifully styled my hair. Will definitely be coming back again!
