   Very disappointed today and I do not enjoy writing bad reviews. This is not a review on their work nor should it reflect everyone in the salon. Just Charlotte. Having called in advance, even mentioning my hair is not 100% in good condition, I said I require highlights. Coming from Lowestoft, having been let down by another company recently in Norwich, they told me I was ok to book and no colour test needed. On arrival, there were some friendly polite employees, but when Charlotte arrived, there was no warm greeting and I thought, maybe a bad day, I didn't feel comfortable, but it is not easy getting appointments and thought I can ride this out. She asked me what I wanted, I said 'can i show photos' and as I started to show them, she just said, I don't think I can do your hair it is in bad condition. I tried to plea that I didn't want too many and that I have lived with it for 50 years (and I didn't think it was that bad). This happened to me about 4 years ago and it was worse, I went somewhere else and they succeeded. She got a second opinion, who agreed with her, but her attitude was a lot nicer. I attempted again and know they have their rights, but she said this would not look good on the company if it turned out bad. She then said I need a colour test and wait 48 hours. I then said that this wasn't fair, as I had called in advance and came over from Lowestoft and they said on the phone, none required and we will sort your hair. She then accused someone else taking the call and said she had to come from Bury. In the end, I said fine I'll go. If there was an apology or even sympathy, I would not be writing this. I am glad she didn't change her mind, as for customer service, she does not deserve my earned cash. I went somewhere else, had a consultation who suggested some alternatives and now I am happily booked elsewhere.

   I have been going to Kerry for some time now and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. She completely understands what to do with my very fine hair and she always makes it look amazing. I was contemplating getting extensions to add volume but I don’t need to now.

   First time visiting Fir today based on recommendations. Emma my stylist was amazing. I have had some bad experiences recently having highlights and balayage from different salons and stylists not advising what is right for my hair and complexion. Wow is all I can say, perfect cut and golden highlights exactly as I wanted. I’m also menopausal and the condition of my hair when I left is fabulous. Emma was really patient with my requests and full of really honest and credible advice. I feel fabulous, thank you Emma and Fir.

   Fantastic salon! I've had my hair cut by Kerry and Charlotte - both amazing. Such a friendly atmosphere and they took the time to understand my hair type and interpret the style I've asked for but with their expertise and experience know how to balance that with my hair to get the most beautiful cut. The salon are environmentally conscious too, love going there, thoroughly recommend!

   I love going to Fir! The staff are super friendly and there is such a warm atmosphere every time . Bryony always cuts my hair and she does it perfect without fail. I also love the Davines products, I use the copper Alchemic shampoo & conditioner and it keeps my natural hair colour looking rich and glossy :)

   I visit Fir salon sometimes when I need my hair styled and cut. I must say it seems one of the most professional salons out there with exceptional prices. The atmosphere is very relaxed and upbeat, with every hair stylist in there being extremely friendly and always greeting you with a lovely smile. my first experience, time flew by and I felt completely at ease also being very happy with the end result still continue to have the same out come every time. The salon is very modern and comtempary with a real trendy feel. I really recommend getting yourself there if you are from the Norwich area (or if your not).
