I was nervous about going in and asking for a gender affirming haircut but it was a really positive experience.    I have been looking for a new hairdresser as I am moving to Norwich and dread, as most people do, changing doctors, dentists and hairdressers. I have read reviews on line, I have walked past hairdressers in central Norwich, peered in windows, looked at who was in the salons and I finally took the plunge and booked John Olivers in Elm Hill which is in walking distance. What a delight. They listened to me and did exactly what I wanted not what they thought I should have done. They were so professional and I liked their training school so I am confident all staff are kept up to date. I'm looking forward to my next appointment in November already. Now I just have to get my husband booked in....

   Another great visit to John Olivers, Red Lion Street. Mark always takes care and time to make sure that my hair is just how I like it and I never feel rushed despite having plenty of hair to dry and straighten - went a bit shorter this time and I love it! Until visiting here I have never felt completely relaxed having my hair cut and have never enjoyed the experience, but I know that I can trust that it will be perfect every time. Thanks to the team for keeping me feeling safe and chilled on my visit.
