   A really cute pub, huge space for events that’s well decorated. At the moment The Red Lion pub opposite is closed for renovations, so the stags head is serving food and has opened more room to serve. Theres games to play and lots of different drinks! The food was ok, the vegetarian options are limited, the pie was unfortunately quite dry, the nachos came with guacamole that came out of a squeeze bottle (not sure it has ever even seen an avocado) but the pulled pork burger was really nice and the truffle fries were great. It is also dog friendly all over, so you don’t have to be stuck in a corner or outside.

   The Manager Chris has achieved amazing changes within the care of his Management skills. His choice in staffs proves to be second and none, and in particular Charlie, & Shona, whom are outstanding in their customer care, and they will go above and beyond to ensure that customer experience is second to none. This has now become my local pub, and I encourage my friends and family to always visit there. These two members of staffs should be recognised for their expertise in handling and welcoming customers both new and old, and are a credit to to the team, and very valuables members of staffs worth looking after and encouraging development into more senior posts. Recently had my bday celebration at the Stag under the care and management of Chris. My experience of this event was nothing but praise, with thought, skill and caring, not only to both myself, but also to those who attended my party. A brill night was had by all, so thanks for the wonderful management Chris and team for making my night so successful and memorable. Amazing team effort Sandy
