   I have had a number of different size picture ledges made up for me to display photos up my staircase. Shelf Direct have manufactured a superb product and delivered to me in a good time frame. Their services are so good I have purchased more. I decided to paint the picture ledges white using an MDF water based primer and satin wood top coat which I applied three coats. Excellent product and service Shel Direct! Vince, South Mundham.

   Very happy with the solid oak picture shelf from Shelfdirect. It is good quality and was easy to install with the fittings provided. I needed them to hold off on delivery as we were going to be away, and they were very helpful with the request. It’s also nice to have someone at the end of the phone these days; they were pleasant and helpful to talk to. I wouldn’t hesitate using them in the future.

   I needed a small shelf to hold the centre speaker of my home cinema setup, so I sent the specifications to Shelf Direct, and they made me a great custom sized shelf. It was easy to fit; there's a wooden bracket that screws to the wall, and then the body of the shelf fits over it. The speaker weighs about 25kg and it supports it easily. Thank you Rhoda for getting back to me quickly and answering all of my questions.

   We ordered three oak shelves for our kitchen to hold an array of spice jars. We were extremely impressed with both the quality of the wood and the workmanship of the shelves. When we explained what we wanted the shelving for, the kind people at Shelfdirect added the end stops, to ensure that the jars cannot slip off the end of the shelf. The shelves are extremely easy and quick to put up and very stable once up and look fabulous. We would highly recommend this company and would have no hesitation in using them again.

   I cannot recommend this company enough. I thoroughly researched the internet for floating shelves that could be made to measure to 2.4m wide. The Shelf Direct was very easy to navigate and importantly I could easily what the costs for my project would be. As I have never used floating shelves before and a bit nervous about the length, I bought one shelf first before purchasing the remainder at 3 different depths to accommodate CDs, DVDs, Vinyl and books. Any communications with the company were dealt with professionally and to my satisfaction. Importantly the shelves arrived in perfect condition due to the excellent protective packaging. All I can say is I am delighted :)
