   Fab boutique stocking the best upto date quality fashion with fabulous prices. They do a Facebook live every Wednesday with all new styles each week in a large range of sizes. It’s become quite a social event with 100s of people looking forward to watching and treating themselves each week, and a weekly competition for a £25 voucher and some weeks lots of spot prizes from chocolates to fashion accessories, what’s not to like?? Nothing is too much trouble for this family run business, they know each of their regular customers, knowing their size and shoe size, you don’t get that from a chain! Solo are now my go to for fashion, wouldn’t go anywhere else

   When this shop was in it's previous location I used to buy quite a few things, as they were reasonably priced. However, since Covid they have been selling on Facebook and running a 'locked door, appointment only' system. While the door was open yesterday for other people I tagged on and asked the owner if I was OK to have a look around as I didn't have an appointment. His response was 'well you're in now aren't you'! I was then informed by the husband and wife duo about 3 times, you need to book on Facebook. I said that I wasn't on Facebook and was told in a tone as though I was 95, that's how it is now! I'm no technophobe, I have a responsible job where I use much technology, but just don't want to be on Facebook to constantly be subjected to pics of someone's new sofa or their latest cocktail!! I asked if I could email for an appointment but was told that no it had to be on Facebook! I came out without browsing as I don't want to give them my custom if they can't be bothered to learn a bit more and offer customers a more diverse booking system. In fact, why a booking system anyway? I realise that there could be undesirable people in the area, so keep the door locked with a buzzer request for entry.

   Family run but the daughters need to grow up, you buy on line and your bound to return clothes as you haven't had the luxury of trying on before you buy. I say the daughters because they are the ones that decide if you can purchase on the live or not, I have returned clothes but I have spent a considerable amount on line that I have kept . They block you on line or just ignore your comments when you try to buy. All I can say is good riddance and thank you I have saved money

   A real find! Italian made quality ladieswear at really great prices! I bought a dress, a top and quirky necklace and will be back. The owner wad so helpful and accommodating, assisting me with all my enquiries and fittings. Well done SOLO!!
