   Where do I start?! This used to be a nice hotel. It is now run by people from a different country who are milking it for every penny it's worth ...which i'm afraid, isn't many anymore. 1, The swimming pool was disgusting, smelly, slimy and not open on time. 2, All the food was absolutely atrocious and had been sitting out for hours. Not fit for human consumption and the very cheapest and smallest portions, which had long since gone past their best. 3, All the staff were Unfriendly, unhelpful, unaccommodating and very lacklustre. 4, The room was freezing Cold and heating had been turned off days before. Which meant the room couldn't get warm, So we had to have a portable heater ordered. 5, The bathroom was outdated and dirty and the shower screen wouldn't stay closed and the water wasn't very hot or had no flow. 6, The feeling of an English seaside hotel was not there at all, but Simply outsiders wanting to exploit our good natures and run away with our money. I will never stay here again.I will never give such people any of my money again. If you want the very cheapest of the cheap and the worst possible service, then here's the place to book.

   Swimming pools mirrors looked very run down, there was tape holding it together along with a crowded swimming space. The room I stayed in was so squeaky I felt as if it was echoing down the hallway. Despite this, staff were helpful and professional. And the food is great! All I want to see is some management with the hotel.

   Fantastic experience. Clean large room with lovely view. Friendly helpful staff. I liked the fact there was a 24 hour reception as it always feels safer. Good location. Right by the pier, 5 minutes walk to the lanes and a taxi rank. Special mention for the food. Really good. Freshly prepared and good portions.

   The staff were very nice and helpful, and obviously doing their best, so they were great, even though check in was delayed. They also boosted my reservation free of charge to a large, almost flat sized room with sitting room But....the rooms themselves are terribly beaten up. Tatty, badly fitted carpets, sagging/listing floorboards, furniture that you'd expect to see left on the side of a road. If you have a thing for sheltered-accomodation-chic, then this is right up your street. Otherwise, it just comes across like the owners have never invested in this place since the 80s. There was a sea view, yes, but the windows are so dirty it's like looking out across fog. The bed linen was clean, but there were bits of mould on the living room ceiling, and the wall plaster is busted. Also there is a nearby club that plays music until 4am, and i could hear the bumph-bumph-bumph even though I had industrial grade earplugs in. I suspect the window glazing doesn't really do much The sauna and swimming pool are nice and free of charge (small though), and the breakfast is mostly edible. It IS brilliantly located; an elder queen of the seafront, with a strong history to boot. But it just feels like it's trading on location, and that no investment has gone into it for decades. I went off season, and so was paying £125 a night, so am not complaining too much. The club music is the one thing that would stop me going back. But if I was paying full wack, I would not have been happy.

   We've had brilliant long weekend. Recalling its my birthday, we were instantly upgrade free of charge to the room with the sea view. Fine and tidy centered stay. Loving the fact there is a SPA and Gym free of charge for the visitors. Would go back

   I just stayed at this hotel booked for a birthday gift for my partner to relax and she loved it and we had a great time here! Hattie at the front desk took great care of us and was very kind and her customer service lovely, she upgraded us and made us both feel very welcome. The room was very large, clean and beautiful to stay in to relax. The breakfast was excellent and we would recommend this hotel to go to for the perfect time to relax. We’ll be back.    The hotel is beautiful, the spa area and swimming pool are very relaxing for a getaway for two. The only negative aspect I'd have to point out is that the room was slightly cold at night but other than that our stay was perfect. The breakfast is delicious and they we such a large variety of foods, from salty to sweet, and also hot and cold beverages. The food there is also delicious and quick to arrive, the staff is very polite and always checking how we are doing and if everything was okay! I definetly recommend this for everyone, families and couples.

   We Absolutely loved our stay here, with my partner and children. The rooms was clean and very tidy, the breakfast was superb with alot to choose from. The staff was really nice and helpful. Loved they had a swimming pool, gym and spa on site. And best of all it is facing the beach. Perfect! very happy and definitely will be booking again in the near future.
