   Went today and couldn’t find any stock for an item and lily was absolutely exceptional and amazing! Her customer service was excellent and she was so so lovely and went the extra mile! An absolutely amazing member of staff even on such a busy day deserves so much recognition for how lovely she is . Thank you so much for your excellent customer service !❤️

   Love the matalan stores but first time visiting here. Lovely store lots to choose from but oh my the staff are rather abrupt verging on rude. Trying to pay with a gift card that I knew you accepted and knew how much money was it and she kept saying rather loudly we don't take those it's not working are you sure there's money have you activated it as she was randomly and erratically swiping it. I took my card and walked out as there was a queue of people and she was shouting at them as well Went to my.Normal local store and card went through no problem and lady was lovely. Shame as I love matalan stores

   Very helpfull staff. Clean and airy store all on ground level . automatic doors well spaced isles. Plenty of time limited parking. Other stores and a petrol station on the same site. Very busy place

   I used to like this shop but over the years it's gone downhill, hardly any staff about, changing room was dirty and unmanned, cashier very sharp to the point of rude, telling you to use self checkout, no help available and why is the till at the back of the shop anyway? No carrier bags when we visited so you walk all through the shop with items in your arms.

   Never had any kind of issue with this store when making purchases or regularly collecting parcels…until today when I had the misfortune of being served by the most miserable assistant, followed by the so-called ‘Manager’ who appears to forget where she is and think it’s acceptable to have uncontrollable, shouty rants at a customer, even whilst they’re trying to speak with a family member on the phone. Utterly embarrassing and in dire need of re-training.

   Amazing store where you suddenly become a member of staff if you pay buy card. Not even a suggestion of the employee acting as a shop assistant. Just do it yourself. I'm surprised people even pay with the tills buried at the rear of the store.

   This store doesn't flow right, you have to go right to the back of the store to pay which is annoying when you just need a quick shop. I have also witnessed thieves just walking in and grabbing clothes by the entrance as there is no security at front. The old layout was better and had loads more homeware.
