   Can't fault this company for service, price & friendliness. Asked via email, for a price on MDF sheets cut to size, and delivered, and within a very short timescale got a price (very good it was too!) and phoned through to pay and was told that the delivery would be on Thursday or Friday (This was Tuesday by the way). No problem to me, either would be good. Wednesday morning, received a phonecall saying that they were in the area later that morning could the deliver? I wasn't able to be there at the time, but said I could be after lunch. The person on the phone (sorry, didn't get your name), checked and said, No problem we'll deliver after lunch! Totally brilliant company in every respect. Pity I can only give 5 stars, I want to be able to give more! No question, I will be using C.C.Betts & Son again.

   Had an interview a fortnight again and it was a joke, the interview Rachel Betts said she had no idea how to do an interview for several years, the only question they asked me was what I research on the internet in general, she had no manners, unorganized, ran about 20 minutes late and was just rude and condescending, in the interview I ask when I would find out if I had the job or not and her son who was in the interview said a week, immediately Rachel said two weeks, after I contact her only to be told I didn't get the job, thank God as I am not sure how they actually run a business if they don't even know how to do an interview, best look somewhere else if you want to work in a DIY store.

   I phoned Betts to arrange for some boards to be cut to go in our shed roof. They gave me some great advice on the basis of which I modified my plans and the end result was even better than I had hoped. Great service, friendly staff, fast delivery. I will definitely be using them again. Thanks!

   As a sole trader I get most of my materials here. Great variety of tools and materials at good prices AND more importantly you can buy the quantities you need ... 13 screws and a foot and a half of 2 by 4 ... No problem... Great staff too, thanks guys

   I've been using Betts since I moved here in 1998, the products they sell are good quality, and the service is friendly and helpful. They are always happy to offer advice to novices about how to mend/make/build things, (as will other traders in there buying their own supplies). It's a genuine old fashioned family business where people still talk to each other, that fully deserves all credit for being a great local business. Highly recommended.
