    Lovely, quiet oasis with easy access to South Downs Way. The fact that there is a lovely host who is a talented water-colour artist is a bonus. The breakfasts were heart and very well prepared. No issues dealing with one vegetarian and one coeliac/celiac. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms quiet as it faces the back garden. Easy walk into the village for meals, pubs and groceries. The official "greeter cat" is a real character. (See picture).

    If you want a quintessentially English experience then stay at this charming BnB. A friend and I stayed while cycling the South Downs Way. Diana was a wonderful host, the breakfast was great and rooms great. Super relaxed, super friendly and the bath! After seven hours cycling the bath was the best.
