    Wanted half a dozen lengths of timber and needed them reducing in length to fit in my car. They no longer lend saws on H&S grounds and informed me they have no competent staff able to cut timber either. I struggle to see how a timber merchants will stay in business if this is the case. I therefore went to Sutton Builders merchants down the road from them, who were more than happy to help and at a cheaper price. I’ll now be using them in future.
