I've had some great times in Porthcawl Pavilion. From raves up on Saturday night's in my teens to Christmas Pantomime with our children then our grandchildren. Now it's mainly tribute bands , our last visit for Marti Pellow which was superb. Great cafe bar for a catch up with friends and when the sun shines sit outside and people watch on the Prom. Love Porthcawl.

Only our second holiday in Porthcawl, had to return to the Grand cafe for their excellent Welsh Rarebit, with poached egg, for our lunch. Very friendly staff, food was freshly prepared and served to table. Was very busy , it was a sunny day, but food was worth waiting the 15/20min for. Hope to return.

Went with my daughter and granddaughter to see Footloose. Performance was excellent and staff at the venue were both friendly and helpful without waiting to be asked. The toilets and foyer were clean and smelling fresh. There was a small shop selling items. I didn't use it but didn't hear any complaints. There is usually a good selection of performances offered with balcony seating and either caberet style with tables downstairs or rows of chairs. These are not tiered unfortunately and even with a raised stage it can often be a little difficult to see around the taller people in front. They also offer a restaurant and coffee shop that is open during the day too but I didn't use it during this visit. All in all a very good venue.

Great little venue, and the staff are always polite and friendly. I would give it 5 stars, but they use plastic glasses and I don't like them. Parking is limited, but there is a car park about a 5 minute walk away.

Lovely intimate venue even with back row seats in the balcony epic clear view of the stage. Why pay over the odds for the same show in a large arena with less.

Lovely old building, not too big to see a show. The only thing I would say is its a shame that it's not tiered seating but obviously that can't be helped. There is a small balcony which goes three quarters around the auditorium, but I think it's only about two seats deep. The ceiling is a high dome. There is a nice little cafe and bar there. Inside the auditorium there is a little kiosk that serves drinks, sweets ice creams and teas and coffees and during the interval. Sensible prices in kiosk too ( the bar wasn't especially cheap though) . Can be a little chilly at first, but warms up. Lovely friendly staff. Positioned right opposite the beach. Parking available on streets and car parks near by. If you get a chance go to Beales chip shop. You can eat in or out. Fantastic fish and fruity curry sauce. ( It s near the large car park for the fun fair).

We were here on a day trip and went into the Cafeteria for something to eat and drink, the service was very good and at a reasonable price. There was no shows on at the time,it is just across the road from the Porthcawl sea front which you can see from the windows of the Cafe.well worth a visit either to watch a show or just having something to eat and drink like we did.
