The place next door is full to the brim and this once busy place is sadly like a ghost town in comparison, and i can tell you why i go next door, even though this place has been more accommodating, turning the music off when requested etc, it's the coffee. Coffee is so expensive now that i want a really excellent, strong, quality cappuccino for the money, which is what i get next door but no longer get here. Also the staff now seem a bit demoralised, it's just past 2pm, you are the only customers and you get the feeling they want to clear up and go home. I would definitely choose this place over next door if your barista skills and ground coffee were up to scratch, and maybe invest in some decent teapots. Your business is sadly going to fold if you don't address these issues asap.

We went in twice while on holidays. Although they only did sandwiches the first time we went, it was lovely! Second time we went for breakfast, we had a small issue with the food, however the service we had was impeccable! Could not have been apologic. Would go back again when we visit porthcawl again.

Bald headed guy was ridiculously rude when I very politely asked him if I could sit inside as it was raining, miserable man has zero people skills. Never written a review before but don’t want that bloke ruining anyone else’s morning. Go next door in future, better food and no grumpy old men making the coffee.

Great spot and location. I had heard mixed opinions about this place, especially regarding cleanliness. The toilets could be cleaner, but that was the only issue I noticed. The staff were really nice, though the older gentleman was not very talkative. Food and drinks were very nice and reasonably priced for what you got. My only complaint is that the staff seemed a bit overworked, with only two serving plus kitchen staff, which felt a little light given how busy it was on the day I visited. Overall, I would definitely go back if I am in Porthcawl

A large menu with a great choice of food and drinks. Ordering was simple just go to the bar and tell them your table number. Payment made up front so no waiting around for the bill. Speedy service and great to see that they are dog friendly.

Nice cafe, it was a shame the chef was off as this made for smaller menu choices but still nice sandwich for lunch. Some drinks, like the apple juice, are priced quite steep aside from that nice place to stop off.

Good service and the breakfasts were really good. As were the coffees. However, it was really expensive. 30 pounds for a fry up and a stack of pancakes seems extortionate. Dog friendly though which is something we wish we had more of!

Been there after had a long walk in Porthcawl with friends a few weeks ago. Good lunch menu and drinks with good enough choices. Nice inside and space, good outdoor sitting that was perfect with bright sunny warm weather. A good place to re-charged.
