It's a big building, not good for deliveries and not well sign posted from the road, especially at night. Clean and tidy. Don't live hear, just visited.

To beautiful grand ocean
Stayed there in 1956 when it was Butlins Ocean Hotel. Worked in the kitchens during college holidays in 1965, & stayed again in 2002 when it was the Grand Ocean Hotel. A wonderful building with fond memories. I am glad that the development into apartments has saved it & secured its future.
A wonderful Art Deco building from 1938, designed by R. W. H. Jones (who also designed Saltdean Lido) in the Streamlined Moderne style.
