   I should have written this review a while ago. I showed up at closing with a new turntable from facebook marketplace and the guys at Audio T took my new turntable overnight, installed a stylus on it, and came back to the store for me to pick it up on new years eve when they were supposed to be closed just so I could have it done in time for new years. Cheers guys

   Just bought a turntable from there, which we got to test out first. The staff were absolutely incredible and very helpful when it came to discussing this, and I even learned a few things! The shop is nicely layed out and very welcoming! Could not recommend this place enough!

   This was in the early 90’s and this was called Jeffrires Hifi. I was staying at Ditchling Road at that time and this was the nearest shop to where I was. I bought a display unit sound organisation turntable table, 2nd hand Linn Akito and Linn K400 2.5m pair loudspeaker cables terminated with linn 4mm banana plugs. My experience with the sales staff was exceptional. They were curtious, knowledgeble and very accomodating towards my requirements and within my alocated budget. My issues at that time was an under performing Linn LVX tonearm and also issues with vibration for the deck. They hooked me up with an Akito tonearm with a K9 cartridge, tube the deck up and upgraded the loudspeaker cabling to Linn K400. Perfect for my Cyrus 1 amplifier. The said equipment is still with me all these years however apart from the deck, Cyrus 780 loudspeaker, Cyrus 1 amplifier and marantz CD50 have hit the bucket. I plan to revisit Jeffries Hifi one of this days, and probably to get sime upgrades. A Linn Unity all in one amplifier comes to mind. A great partner for my current Epos MC12 loudspeaker.

   We were looking to purchase a new amp and speakers and were looked after very well by the staff in Audio T Brighton especially Adrian. They talked us through what they thought would be good for us as well as not so good, they even set up 2 systems with 4 different speakers to help us with our choice. We didn’t feel rushed or pressured into buying and were left to make our own decisions. If you are looking to make a purchase of speakers, amp or record player I would thoroughly recommend Audio T. Adrian even delivered and set up our entire system for us, showing us properly how it worked. Nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous service all round.

   This is exactly what a great high-street store should be. I came in today looking for a new stylus for my vinyl player, a relatively small purchase compared to the other products on display, and was treated with the upmost attention and friendliness from all staff in the store. The guys in here know everything there is to know, but could not be more polite and humble in their expertise. If you are spending any sort of money on Hi-Fi, do yourself a favour and come ask what these guys think!

   Do not be put off by the high Hi-Fi end perception versus the other high street AV shops. The guys at Audio T-Brighton are patient, extremely knowledgeable, helpful and give really good advice. They actually advised me to spend less recently to get the right sound for my budget. I am very happy with their advice and most of all the results the sound.
