Best coffee I’ve had in ages! PUCK is an absolute gem of coffee shop. A great vibe and some mint tunes. This might be my new favourite place!

As regular visitors to Brighton with kids and grandkids in the area, we're always hunting for quality independent coffee shops to add to our repertoire. This time, I decided to embrace technology and asked my AI assistant Gemini: "Find a top-rated café with excellent coffee within a 15-minute drive of my current location. Show me its reviews and directions." Without hesitation, Gemini recommended Puck and provided compelling reasons why. I have to admit, artificial intelligence proved pretty smart on this occasion - the recommendation was absolutely spot-on. The coffee quality lived up to the AI's promise, and the overall experience has definitely earned Puck a place on our growing list of Brighton favourites. The atmosphere and service were exactly what we look for in an independent coffee shop. What particularly impressed me was their environmental approach to takeaway cups. Not only do they offer a discount when you bring your own reusable cup, but they're happy to store it at the café for your next visit. This thoughtful touch shows genuine commitment to sustainability while building customer loyalty. It's refreshing to find a coffee shop that combines excellent coffee with forward-thinking practices and genuine community spirit.

Really good coffee, better coffee price than all the other chain own coffee shops and the saff/owner really friendly and nice to have a chat if you feeling under the weather The only independent coffee shops in this area.

Really quirky building, really friendly staff, food choices are brilliant if you're after a snack/muffin/pastry etc. The medicinal part is a great choice to have but other more normal drinks are available for those that don't want that type of drink. Having a record shop upstairs adds to the vibe. Such a cool place. Would recommend. Thanks for looking after us.

Best oat latte, coming from a brighton coffee fiend!! Also loveliest staff, always welcoming and extremely friendly. A pleasure every single time I stop by!

A quick coffee in the morning, good quality beans to purchase and get in the mood with the good music - love it!

Puck is not just the best on the dials, but it is also one of if not the best cups of coffee in Brighton. Ralph the owner is there running the show, and meticulously judging each grind of coffee and temperature, like it’s second nature to him. He is a master of his craft. The story doesn’t end there, he sells vinyl and has a superb playlist of music from which I have stolen so many songs and discovered new artists. The regulars (and their dogs) are also a great bunch. It really is a cup of happiness each morning… plus the sausage rolls are banging (they have vegi/vegan ones too).

When looking for a new café to try, I stumbled upon this little gem. Really friendly staff and very nice coffee. The sitting area is very relaxed and fresh, it's a good spot for meeting friends for a chat, reading or getting a bit of work done. Not only this, but they happen to sell bratwurst! Albeit the only thing on the menu when I visited (not sure if that's permanent) it was of high quality and you have a range of toppings. (Mine is currywurst sauce and sauerkraut)

There are two ground coffee houses in Brighton plus Pharmacie roasters, which opens on Saturdays only. Glad to find this one in the heart of Brighton, Seven Dials. So bold location, especially considering SBC neighborhood. Love atmosphere, cozy interior, coffee, of course.
