Such as shame the garden centre has gone downhill. Most plants look dead and are not looked after. The flea market is great and you can find a good bargain. Owl sanctuary, didn't look as good it did a few years ago. So very sad
Don't know what the person was on about when talking about Poo being at the entrance and fleas everywhere. They must have an agenda. I have no connection to this place I come from the other side of the country but I can tell you I never saw any of the things they were talking about. The place is a flea market yes but a well kept and organised one to boot. The people I interacted with were polite and professional. The owl sanctuary was well kept and an ideal attraction to visit.

First time here, we spent hours browsing the flea market, looking round the owl sanctuary, and trying the wares of the cafe. We had a very nice toastie and cuppa, came back later for another cuppa and scone. No complaints from us. Such an unusual place! We will be back.....
Recently stayed at Haven Wild Duck and visited this lovely little gem under 10 minutes away. There's an Owl Sanctuary (I believe you can hold one for just £4), a beautiful glasshouse tea garden that served a really great breakfast, a flea market/indoor car boot at great prices plus plants and statues.
I love this little quirky place, I'd consider the building to be seggerated into 3 sections. 1. Garden centre 2. indoor carboot/ flee market 3. owl sanctuary. have been many times and bought many plants, good price and quality.

Lovely cafe, set up as a tropical area with a carp pool. Interesting flea market for browsing. The owl sanctuary at the back, definitely worth supporting.
Cafe is nice and full of plants. Market whoever is ridiculously overpriced. One stall was selling a starcaster jazz bass for £800 when they are only £120 max new. Stall owner came across as arrogant and not very friendly when I tried to explain to him it was marked up 10x what it should cost in the poor 2nd hand condition it was in. Will most likely not be returning.
Just spent a wonderful half hour in a quirky, newly opened coffee shop at Fritton plant centre, aka Myhills nurseries. Friendly staff and pleasant relaxing surroundings. the sound of flowing water was hypnotising. Staff were actually bothered that you were there and what you thought, well done.
