When the new owners took over it was not brillliant, but they have worked hard fitting out the shelves, updating the fridges etc. The staff have become more knowledgeable and friendly and are helpful to local elderly. I'm happy with them.

This place has really gone downhill since the new owners took over. Multiple times I've bought items in a "deal" only to luckily realise at the till that the deal didn't apply, I guess they are hoping you don't notice if you're doing a bigger shop. Recently I've noticed they've started turning the fridges for the sandwiches & drinks down or maybe even off, they are not cold at all which isn't great for products which are supposed to be kept refrigerated. I assume this is to cut costs but it seems like a bit of a scummy move.

Used to be great, but lately the experience has really declined. The shop often smells strongly of incense, it’s messy, and the till staff are always on their phones. The customer service has become very poor. I visit every workday, so when I say they’re always on the phone, I really mean always.

One Stop has quickly become my go-to convenience store for everyday essentials, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. Whether I’m popping in for a quick snack, last-minute groceries, or just to grab a few household items, I always find what I need without hassle. The store layout is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate — even when you’re in a rush. Products are clearly labelled and always well-stocked, and I’ve noticed that they carry a really good mix of brand names and affordable alternatives. Their regular offers and deals are also great value, especially for basic groceries and drinks. What really makes One Stop stand out, though, is the friendly and helpful staff. Every time I’ve visited, I’ve been greeted with a smile and offered assistance if I was looking for something specific. It’s clear the team takes pride in delivering a positive customer experience, and that kind of consistent service makes a big difference.

Good shop, but you're better off with Tesco a couple hundred meters up the road price wise - Unless you're looking for baked goods, in which case look no further!

Mini supermarket for the items you've run out of during the week. Off licence too.
