Nice local shop but the £5 minimum spend is a killer. I would love to support local businesses but rarely do I want to spend that much. My previous local premier had a £2 minimum spend, which is much better. It's a shame because there is a co-op up the road, so this is where I will be going.

A welcoming local shop that has many everyday items. I see people complaining about the £5 minimum spend on card but this happens almost in every premier! Nice friendly owner and staff.

My elderly Mother plucked up the courage to go out, only to be told she needed to spend £5 to use a card, or withdraw cash which holds an additional charge.

Hi, I’d like to highlight an issue that came up today. I’m sure others are frustrated too. I visited this store in old catton Norwich and was treated dreadfully. I was in the middle of a 10 mile walk and was feeling very thirsty. I popped in to buy two bottles of water and was told that there was a £5 minimum spend if I use my card. I raised this with the young man on the till, telling them that this can no longer be demanded and both him and another boy basically told me I was wrong and I was pretty much laughed at. They asked if I wanted his dad to tell me I’m wrong - threatening me! There were other people coming into the store and I was made to feel like a laughing stock. I think it is dreadfully poor that this is being allowed to happen when it is against visa and MasterCard rules. Their rules are blatantly being disregarded and customers are being penalised for not having cash on them, especially during the pandemic. Would love to get some decent feedback on this!!! Well stocked small shop/supermarket. Staff member was friendly and engaging. The shop does look a bit tired and the front door needs fixing because it sounds like nails down a blackboard when you open it!

Nice and convenient, however not a wheelchair friendly shop. The isles are too narrow and the is often over flow of products into these narrow spaces. That said... The staff are happy to help when needed and are very pleasant mannered. Would just be a little better if more accessible... Hence only 3 stars.
