   A nice little day out to kill a few hours. Was a bit disappointed not all animals were out but I guess that’s due to weather/time of year. I’m guessing would be much better to visit in the summer. Other than that was pretty much what you expect from a little zoo.

   It’s a really nice place to see animals, some of the animals are not in the best condition and I didn’t see staff taking care of them. The place is really big and I get lost, they don’t give you a map or something, for the price is worth it. And I enjoy watching the animals they are very friendly!

   This is a great little place for young children. There is lots of space and the educational talks in the animal enclosures were informative and friendly, so that even my 6yr old grandson could shout out a question. Only the gift shop and restaurant to spend money on, not rides and ice creams everywhere, which was a refreshing change and appreciated. They enjoyed the play area in the park but it was crowded.

   Can't recommend this place enough, a very loving and welcoming place for all ages. Lovely afternoon spent there with the family, loads of things to see and do, friendly and caring staff. Amazing prices and very affordable. Please visit and you will fall in love with this place the way we did .

   Fantastic loved it there was a lovely atmosphere and peaceful a good place for families and couples lots of animals and birds to see and a lot of information outside each enclosure about the animals .Had a shop there and was not over priced, definitely recommend good value for money and had a brilliant day

   Recently the nature centre has appeared like a site under reconstruction, there are randomly located metal barriers, empty enclosures and an eery feeling of desertion. The enclosures that do have animals inside are kept well enough but the odd enclosure with just 1 or 2 animals give a depressing feeling especially the lone wallaby that was sitting in the corner staring at the floor. The boardwalk by the lake has been closed for the best part of 6 months with no signs of being reopened as it begins to slowly overgrow. Hopefully summer will bring some rejuvenation to the site.

   Wow what a lovely zoo! So reasonable for £7 too! Very much exceeded my expectations. Lovely day out to see various different animals. Highly recommended! Even in January!
