   Queued for 10 minutes to collect repeat prescription that was requested 6 days ago to be told "no not ready yet come back later this afternoon" I do have other things to do!!! Not the first time this has happened other excuse "short staffed" why?

   20/10 for the best pharmacy in South of England! Firstly, I am Terence smith’s daughter in law, also daughter to poorly parents and I have to say I am so impressed (ongoingly) with this team at Steyning, all the girls and the pharmacists (chaps and girls), during this extremely pressurised and stressful time and can’t praise them enough for their stoic keep calm, paint the smile on, cheerful, nothing will faze us in the face Of covid(ity)19 manner! I meant to write this review last week when I last went in to collect 3 sets of elderly relatives meds (we are talking a lot of medication for seriously sick people) it is always packed up ready on the shelf to go and in my haste to care for my relatives I forgot to scribe a 5 (10 if they had it on here) star review? However, this mustn’t be overlooked. We all praise the nhs and the drs and nurses but how about the pharmacies, particularLy this one. They are open long hours, work all hours and yet this lot (steyning paydens) never cease to amaze. I happened to witness a particularly difficult customer who was dealt with such kindness and a calming manner by two of the staff. He was put instantly at ease and his anxious manner abated. It’s people like this that keep the cogs turning, and show there is still patience and kindness in such a hectic world. Having used (in my time) quite a few chemists I have to say I rate this one number 1, some of the other pharmacies should be ashamed of themselves for the way they speak to sick customers, looking down their noses at them and even ignoring them, going slowly about other chores in order to avoid serving them at the til (perhaps if they hate being around illness they shouldn’t be in that line of work!) They should take a leaf out of Paydens customer services! I hope this in turn doesn’t put an extra strain on this team because the hordes will no doubt flood this sleepy town of steyning sourcing this (My) chemist out. Thanks team for doing such a wonderful job, we don’t say it enough but a huge great THANKYOU to all of you

   Cannot praise the lovely people at paydens always smiling and happy to help. Nothing is too much trouble. Have been using them ever since they opened at the surgery and overall for 20 years when they were located in the high street.
