   I couldn't tell you when I last wrote a poor review if ever but sadly I am driven to it by the rudeness of a member of staff at this pharmacy. The lady on the till was polite but not so her dark haired colleague in the pharmacy. Yes I could hear your asides to your other member of staff. It was totally unnecessary in response to a simple question about whether urine dipsticks are generally available OTC. Safe to say I won't be returning.

   I attempted to get help for my daughter as I suspected she had an ear infection. I was told both ears were fine but to return if anything changed as I was struggling to get a Dr appointment. The pharmacist suggested that the Dr would probably send us there anyway After an unbelievably bad night with her literally screaming in pain we attempted to have them reassess her the next day and they refused to even look. Told us to just go to the Dr because we had already been told she has no infection. I went to the pharmacy in Pulborough and they not only checked her ears, but told me one was completely full of wax such that you couldn't see the ear drum, the other was so badly infected you could only just make out it was perforated and she needed antibiotics. This was less than 24hrs after being told they were both totally fine in Ashington. Terrible service.

   Due to very sad circumstances I had to request appropriate disposal of my late mothers medications. I was not met warmly. There was a lack of compassion or even understanding, as I stood at the counter crying. I felt like a complete inconvenience to the women in the pharmacy. I was told bluntly that they would not take the box I was bringing the medication in (I had not suggested I was leaving the box in the first place). When they opened the box they told me, without any warmth, they will not take the boxes, even the unopened medication was in and was given a cold no when I asked if the pharmacy supported Aid to Africa. I certainly wouldn't want to enter this place again. Very difficult experience for me emotionally.

   We had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the female pharmacist. I took my 2 year old, to ask for some advice. She made me feel like I was wasting her time and an inconvenience. Will make sure not to visit this pharmacy again.

   This sems to be the only pharmacy in the world , where your prescription is made up immediately! Often the GP will email the prescription direct and it is waiting for you by the time you arrive! I have always found Michelle and her team very helpful, giving sound advice. In a village the size of ours, it is such a luxury to have our own pharmacy. We must USE IT OR LOSE IT. Thank you so much Michelle.

   So brilliant to have a pharmacy in the village. Prescriptions always there waiting for you. If you have a new one it only ever takes a few minutes for them to process them. So helpful in contacting GP surgery if there are any issues. Many thanks
