   Went for breakfast before a long 5 hour drive home. Food and service very good set in a historical building in Beccles. Toilets up a long set of stairs, but that is the 'normal' in a Wetherspoons. Prices started from only £2.99 for breakfast. Will definately visit again when in the area.

   Recently visited Beccles for 3 nights. Few places offering evening meals so ate at the Kings Head all 3 nights. Good varied menu, food and drink options plentiful, and prices very reasonable. Food quality and portion size both excellent. Sizeable pub which can get busy in an evening, but no issues finding a table and service quick and friendly. Also has a sizeable beer garden, which was nice in the late September sun. Happy to recommend. Thank you

   A little gem of a pub. Recently refurbished, so all fresh and clean. The room was absolutely spotless. We were on top of the kitchen so lots of kitchen noise, from extractor fans, and crockery. Plenty of shower gel and toilet roll, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Free tea/coffee in the pub if your show your key card. Another Wetherspoons checked off my list, I'll definitely be back to this one.

   Nice spoons. Never gets crazy busy which is nice. Ideal for small-medium social gatherings. Good location too, right in the town center. Decent food and good drinks selection - I recommend Aspall cider, which is local to Suffolk, and is my personal favourite.

   Very enjoyable stay before Latitude. Staff are always very nice and the room we had was excellent. Booze and food very well priced. Perfect starting point for Latitude.

   Last two visits for food have been very disappointing. The place has definitely gone downhill. First was the toughest steak I have ever had, second was a burger with undercooked soggy onion rings.

   Only use the pub and restaurant. The food is typical of a Wetherspoons. It's ok, but nothing special. What is nice about this place is the atmosphere. The pub is always packed and buzzing. There is never any trouble and the staff are always busy cleaning tables and taking glasses away. It's very clean and modern inside, with a welcoming feel. You can have a bit of a wait for food, especially when the place is busy.

   Visited on a Friday evening and did have food from the menu which for the price was very good. We used the app and ordered everything to the table, this was always quick and no mistakes made all night, so for ease of not having to wait at the bar this is a must. Staff all friendly, good atmosphere, toilets were in good order although upstairs so not good if you have mobility issues, not sure if they had another on the ground floor for this reason. Would definitely return. We didn't stay in the rooms so couldn't comment on this.
