   Just had the best night out here. A friend booked the karaoke room and we had a brilliant time. The staff are all lovely, helpful and very polite. Teeny tiny negative was some very drunk lads that came into the room uninvited and were reluctant to leave, I would suggest having a occupied notice or similar sign to dissuade other customers from just walking in.

   Don’t particularly choose to write reviews but felt it needed to be appreciated. I was here on bonfire night Saturday on a works do.with there being a large group of us,Drinks orders were taken quickly and well made with a wide range on the menu, I wanted to highlight one worker whose name I didn’t catch! I believe he was a young portugese boy who encouraged us to book the beer pong table which was such fun! Got us a table for our group and cleaned it immediately without asking. I mistakenly spilled a drink and he was there within a second clearing it and assuring me it wasn’t a problem (to my own embarrassment) honestly the best customer service I have experienced from a individual so big shout out to him personally!! Thank you for a lovely evening

   This place is a vibe, really lovely atmosphere and really lovely staff. Lots of choice for drinks and activities to do from darts to snooker. If you are looking to watch football or sport then this your place to be. We will be coming here a lot.

   Opening night (22/08/25) was fantastic. Even though The Bear was packed out, it didn't take long to get a drink. Brilliant atmosphere, friendly staff. My friend and I even managed to get a game of darts in with 2 fellas we didn't even know. They were happy for us to jump in on their game. Inside has had a full refurb, looks amazing. Over 18's no tracksuits or work wear, which in my eyes is better, you should dress up when you go out. I wish The Bear all the best. I will certainly be going back

   Interesting place that caters for a younger crowd. No beer on draught or in bottles - my friend had their very last bottle of Newcastle Brown. Other than that it was lager, Lager or LAGER.....

   Good pub! Very clean, great pool tables (though the cues were a bit dodgy but usable). Great atmosphere, and good covid setup although they had a manual entry book which is a bit gdpr unfriendly as anyone could see names and numbers of other patrons. Would recommend moving to a digital track and trace system asap.

   Played some pool after work. Nice and roomy with some good tunes on the jukebox. Pool tables ok but have seen some wear and tear but overall ok and a good place to relax after a day of work.
