A group of us went for Christmas afternoon tea and it was absolutely delicious. No rush to leave the table, super service from friendly staff and the rooms were beautifully decorated. Three fresh finger sandwiches, a warm sausage roll, leek quiche, Christmas cake slice, a beautiful Italian meringue, chocolate dessert, chocolate and mint brownie and a single chocolate - too much to eat in one go but doggy bags were provided. A delightful experience in beautiful grounds.

We didnβt stay here, we only came for a meal. It was winter, dark, and I forgot to take any photos (my bad). Anyway, itβs a lovely old building brought up to modern specs as far as I could see, the staff were all great, (we were served by a lovely Spanish guy whoβs been there for a number of years I think), and the food was wonderful! We had the bread and cockles for nibbles, ravioli and wontons for starters then we both had a pie for main (I forget exactly what was in it but it was a rich gamey pie that went perfectly with the suggested bottle of red.) We wanted to try the deserts, cheese board, digestifs etc but were full to bursting so weβll just have to go again and try harder. Thanks guys and gals. Xx

Beautiful hotel maintained to a high standard. The staff were so welcoming and lovely. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, from perfect pies to homemade ice creams and jams. The Welsh breakfast is a must! The grounds are delightful - we enjoyed around the surrounding woodland, with historic caves and an ancient burial ground. Very near lots of other beautiful spots like Three Cliffs and Oxwich. Highly recommended!

As a very elderly couple, we were delighted with our bedroom being on the ground floor, just a short hop, skip and jump away from the public rooms! The room was big and comfortable, with a view of the grounds. For us, a second chair for sitting would have been nice, as would have been a hand-rail in the large walk-in shower.

Fantastic place. Probably the friendliest hotel weβve stayed in. The staff are all lovely, and canβt do enough to accommodate guests. The breakfast, dinner and afternoon teaβs are top notch. The dinner was possibly the best food weβve had in Wales. Everything is beautifully presented and kept spotlessly clean. The hotel is surrounded by green fields and accessed via a woodlands drive. The hotel has a warm period character, with high ceilings, ornate woodwork, and a mix of carefully chosen, period appropriate soft furnishings. Itβs traditional, but with all the mod cons youβd expect of a small hotel. The ambience and setting is fantastic, and only an hours walk to the stunning Three Cliffs beach. If I had one criticism it would be that the Monta EV charging stations didnβt work, but the hotel manager kindly allowed us to plug into the mains at the rear of the hotel. Price-wise itβs reasonable for the level of service, setting and quality of food. Will definitely be back. A big thanks to all the wonderful staff. You made us feel so welcome.

We were there for a wedding reception. What an amazing place the staff where exceptional in fact the whole place was. The food was top dollar, I would recommend the Manor house for anyone who wants good old fashioned service. The owners can be very proud of this venue. I cannot comment on the rooms as we did not stay ,but speaking to the guests who did they are very comfortable. Perhaps we will have a weekend there in 2023.

Lovely 1 night getaway with evening meal. Evening food was good breakfast was very good, large portions. Hotel had put a lot of effort into Christmas decorations to give a festive experience. Welcome on arrival was very personal, all the staff team members were superb.

We went for afternoon tea which was served in the airy conservatory at the rear. Lovely view of the grounds from our table. Service was good, staff were friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our tea which was almost too much too eat. Delicious sandwiches and some scrumptious cakes. A perfect treat.

An amazing experience! Came here with family to celebrate my mother's birthday with an afternoon tea. Best choice we could have made, everything was perfect from the service, presentation of elaborate cakes and pastries, log fire to the subtle music playing in background.. and of course the Prosecco and local cider helped the day along ! Thank you Nicci and everyone else who made my mother's Birthday very memorable. Dean
