I am very impressed by Oriental Express Stevenage, who provided nice veggie food, and went the extra mile for me by delivering a second order without additional cost, after the first one was taken to the wrong address (as a result of MY error when ordering). Thank you for very special service.
This is definitely my go to Chinese in Stevenage. Always very friendly staff when visiting to collect takeaway. Food is always hot and delicious. Highly recommend.
I paid rufly £50 and this is the worst Chinese food l ever eating in my whole life. I order chilli crispy chicken. They put the bottle of vinegar on it and couldn't even eat the second serv from the heavy smell of the vinegar. The beef curry tastes nothing like it. it's all sweet. It's my first order and will be the last one. Egg rice is all brown and also tastes sweet like wdf! I spend my money on crup food. If u taste the real Chinese food before, don't order here. You will be disappointed
We've always liked this Chinese but our recent order left a lot to be desired. The dishes when opened were mostly onion, especially the garlic butter prawns. Since this is nearly £7 per portion I resent paying this amount for 6 prawns plus onion. I can buy a kilo of very large prawns for about twice this price so it's a rip-off from the start. There were none of the usual vegetables apart from a tiny sliver of carrot. Apart from the chicken curry, none of it tasted as good as usual either. I realise a Friday night might be busy for them but since we pay the same price regardless we are entitled to the same standard of food and this did not come close. Try harder.
Very salty noodles and taste not good. Prawn toasts are fine. I threw away the whole box of noodles x2. Avoid them.
My family and I had a fantastic takeaway, food was delicious, delivered well within the time we were told, Portion sizes were larger than expected, which was a bonus considering how reasonably priced they were. Can only speak for myself, but the best Chinese I have had in a very ling time. We will definitely order from them again.
