   I’ve had a couple of fitting sessions with Stephen at The Bike Tailor, and the experience has been exceptional. I’m not new to bike fits—I had one done at the start of last year—but Stephen’s approach easily stands out as the most thorough and performance-focused I’ve had. He was incredibly patient throughout the process, taking the time to run two separate sessions to make sure every detail was dialled in. As someone who’s performance-oriented, I really appreciated how methodical and data-driven he was. We refined my handlebar width and overall positioning to achieve a setup that not only feels comfortable but also helps me generate more power. Stephen’s approach is systematic, communicative, and always centred around feedback. You can tell he genuinely cares about getting you to your best position on the bike.    It had been quite a few years since my last bike fit, and having just built a brand new aero road bike I wanted to make sure everything was set up properly. Stephen was fantastic very personable, extremely knowledgeable and clearly an enthusiastic cyclist himself, which made it easy to relax and chat about all things bike-related while he worked. The fit itself was very thorough and methodical, and the whole experience was genuinely confidence‑inspiring. Stephen clearly has a real passion for solving any fit issues, focusing on making sure you are as comfortable and as fast on the bike as possible. The built‑in follow‑up appointment, scheduled for around four to six weeks after the initial fit, was also incredibly useful. After some real‑world riding, it was great to go back, fine‑tune a few details and confirm that the position was dialled in perfectly. Overall, this was a professional, friendly and highly effective service. I would highly recommend Stephen and his business to anyone looking to address aches, pains, niggles or general discomfort on the bike. You know it worked when your mates make comments that you're looking comfortable and solid on the bike and faster!

   In my opinion, if you are going to get your bike repaired, serviced or upgraded, why wouldn’t you get a true bike lover on the case?! Quick, courteous, honest and clearly very passionate about what they do – I was well impressed with the work, the advice and the pricing.    Great service. You get much more than just a bike with these. I chose the bike tailor last year when I was looking for a new bike and they could get the bike to me quicker than any other retailer at the time. The service was great. I was sized up for the appropriate frame size and chose exactly the build that I wanted, including trying out different saddles etc. (they let me take them home to try for a few weeks at a time). A few times I expressed that I was worried that we were going for the wrong frame size, but the team reassured me that my measurements were correct. When the bike arrived it was the perfect size, so they were right and I’m glad that I had their guidance. When I have had any issues in the past, like the tubeless sealant going, or a bolt rounding off etc. they have sent a van to my door to collect the bike the next day and turned it around quickly. They are also very quick to respond to messages via text or email. The service is very good. I have just had my one year service as promised, and wasn’t charged for a full day of labour. My bike is basically like new again, and I have given it a beating. I appreciate the customer service, when compared to bigger retailers who probably value the business a bit less. They also pretty much make any type of bike you can imagine and will get whatever parts you want. So overall, a very good service.

   A fantastic bike fit with Stephen who came out on a house visit to help improve my Wattbike setup. Stephen is super friendly, passionate and knowledgeable and after a chat through my various issues was quickly able to make recommendations and adjustments to my bike. This has improved my comfort and position and I’ve also noticed an improvement in efficiency and power!

   An depth and thorough bike fit from Stephen in his fitting studio set in beautiful surroundings. Stephen identified a number of issues with my current set up and made some initial tweaks to the bike and cleats, the difference was noticeable straight away! We've got a few more tweaks to make but this dependant on supply from the the manufacturer of my bike. Great work and thanks a lot Stephen, I'll be back!
