Very rude towards me when I was buying some boots then try to charge 100 pound when it says 79.99 on the box and then proceeded to throw the box and not even offer me a bag when leaving I won’t be coming back here I would not recommend

Paid for 2x camping chairs online Β£15 each turned up to pick up and Jay the manager wouldn’t release them even tho I had my email and card but order was on my girlfriends name as I had no ID. Poor service and will never use trespass again EVER.

Man on the desk was super helpful. Worked out exactly what I needed. Polite and patient too. Glad I went in-store instead of buying online.

Awful Awful Awful!!! Worst customer service!! Today my parents had my children they spent near Β£300 range in there. But was made to feel so uncomfortable! Was told the children not to touch anything and made them feel so horrible.! Just appalling!! how is that shop running with these reviews as it’s clearly not just us being treated this way.

I feel compelled to leave some feedback about my recent experience. I received as a present from my fiancΓ© a brand new pair of Trespass men’s walking boots and a pair of waterproof gloves. These were gratefully received on Christmas Day having been purchased on the 19th December 2024 @ 14:32. Unfortunately the boots were not a comfortable fit and therefore would have to be returned. The gloves were terrific and were going to be kept. Whilst out of the country in the January period the weather forecast was such that gloves with a good thermal insulation and a water resistance would be of practical use. Unfortunately the gloves performance was not as published resulting in them become soggy and wet inside. This resulted in rather cold and damp hands! Therefore it was decided to discuss the issues with both purchases and seek a refund/exchange from the store of purchase. Having browsed through what was seemingly an unattended shop for some minutes it was decided that no suitable exchange items were present. Therefore we waited at the till area for a sales assistant to attend to us. The issue was explained and we were told that by the sales assistant that we were not eligible for a refund as we were out of the Christmas return period. The date now was the 9th January 2025 @ 13:15. I pointed out that the receipt stated a refund is available within 21 days of purchase. The sales assistant then suggested that the manager will have to deal with this. The manger came out from the back room / store room and the first thing he said is β€œI will not be refunding you any money!” No good afternoon or how may I help. I felt that this had started our conversation in a confrontational way. I must stress that at no point were voices raised by any party. This however was not the kind of customer service I was expecting from a company with such a good reputation. An intense but civil discussion proceeded to take place about his interpretation of 21 days and mine. His interpretation was that it was day 22 and mine was today is 21, in actual fact it was 20 days 23 hours 08 minutes since the purchase. After a basic arithmetic lesson presented to me by the manager I decided that I will tackle the β€œunfit for purpose” gloves. He did, after offering an explanation, refund the purchase price of these. I now wanted to address the boots issue. He was adamant that no refund shall be offered. This wasn’t acceptable so I asked about the escalation procedure. The response was to get in touch with customer services. Initially the only option presented was an email address. I felt that this would not have worked due to the time window of 21 days. I asked if there was a customer service number. Neither members of staff could provide a number after searching through various books/ notepads etc. Finally the assistant and I came up with the number separately but coincidentally by using our mobiles. I phoned the customer service team and was greeted by a very helpful gentleman. I explained the managers and my difference of opinion. After seeking clarification from his end he concurred with my assessment and informed the store that a refund must be processed. On hearing this decision the manager no longer interacted with me, and left to conduct some back room activities, even though I wanted to offer some constructive customer service feedback and ensure that all parties were satisfied. A refund was processed by the assistant and I felt vindicated in my interpretation of the returns policy as printed on the receipt. I don’t usually complain however I needed this to be documented / mentioned. I sought to improve my knowledge of your refunds return policy from your website in the comfort of my home. This is what I found: WHAT IS THE CHRISTMAS RETURNS & EXCHANGES POLICY? It clearly states β€œmay be returned any time before 14th January 2025”! I would have hoped that employees would have a better working knowledge of the employers policies.

Great outdoor clothing shop, good range of high quality gear at a fairly reasonable price. DofE participants get a discount for them and their family and the staff are happy to credit that which is great.
