I just want to give a huge shout-out to the amazing team at Costa Coffee on the morning of 26th October. Phoebe, ileah and Omar. You deserve serious recognition. I visited during an incredibly busy period, and the staff handled everything with such professionalism, speed, and genuine friendliness. Even with long queues and constant orders coming in, they kept smiles on their faces and made sure every customer was looked after. Keep up the good work giys!
Superb customer service from the young lady called IRA or IRAH. She had a very happy and approachable demeanour, and a huge smile that became infectious and also made me smile. She was very patient when the app was playing up because of the signal, (which is a major deterance that needs improvemey ASAP!) and even let me quickly run out the door to try to get it to work. The whole staff worked well today and were rushed off their feet, trying not to bump into each other, bless them. The queue was consistently long, and at one point, it even reached the front door! And I saw 2 customers walk out because of the length. The staff did a magnificent job with trying to manage the queue, but with it being this busy, I just hope that each staff got their full break. I think they should employ what I've consistently seen Starbucks does to make their queues go quicker during busier periods, and have 1 or 2 people consistently serving at the till, and the rest of the crew make the drinks. And 1-2 are consistently clearing the table inside and outside. The service was 5* but the cleanliness was 2.5*. There were so many places to sit that was filthy, so it wasn't inviting. Also, often I pop into this branch, the manager's never in on the weekends, which I think is a bit unfair to other staff members. Overall, excellent service from Ira/Irah, good service from the rest of the staff, but the cleanliness and queue management must improve for a better customer experience.
The coffee is consistent with other locations, so no complains there. However, the staff, speed of service, cleanliness and overall atmosphere of this Costa is shockingly below standards. I visited on a Monday (bank holiday) at 5pm. They appeared to be short staffed, but did not manage my expectations in terms of wait times. I waited over 10 mins for a iced Americano, and was dealt quite rudely by who I assume was the store/shift manager. I get it - long day, hot and rushed, but no excuse to treat customers that poorly. Lack of organisation. Poor customer service. Dirty tables.

After going to remembrance parade with my son we visited this amazing store. Quick service and friendly team. Shout out to 3 members of the costa team: Vlad the store manager, Ester and Dani all of whom are always delivering great service and amazing coffee. The bar area needs to be a lot wider customers and staff struggle with such a narrow gap.
Always seems very busy in this Costa and they only ever seem to have one till open taking orders. Otherwise its a great Costa drinks are presented well. Even gave my daughter a free mini gingerbread cookie that went down really well thanks.
It was quiet but still took a while to be served as understaffed. Drink served was not the best and lacked some finishing touches that most other branches add. Staff were overworked which accounts for the lack of please & thanks you's I suppose. I will now always go to the other branch by M&S By the way don't get decaff from any Costa as it is not strong enough and you will be drinking hot milk! Cafe Nero does great decaff.
