I've been staying in Oundle for a couple of nights and I have to say Beans is the star of the town - I've been into most of the cafe's and Beans is by far the most welcoming, best coffee and terrifically Christmassy. What a lovely spot. Great bacon sandwich, thank you.
I’ve called in Beans several times over the past year, and always been very satisfied. Their coffee is pretty good, the service is friendly and it’s a nice spot in which to sit for a few moments.
We have been customers here for over 12 years, and this is a really popular place to come and enjoy a coffee and some food. Although it is always busy, you are generally able to get a seat. The coffee is really tasty - and the bacon rolls are always very much appreciated! The staff are always really pleasant, and have an easy going attitude. Pop in for coffee - stay for the rolls, panini - and cakes!
The Beans Coffee Shop is hands-down the best coffee shop in Oundle. With exceptional coffee and a cozy atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot to unwind with a book.

A really nice atmosphere and lay out for a cafe to sit and catch up with friends. The coffee and cake (mars slice) were both excellent and would definitely recommend if visiting Oundle.
Very cute coffee shop in the middle of beautiful and historic Oundle. The menu is surprisingly robust as the shop seems to be sit up for a takeaway focus. The atmosphere is relaxed and open to the views of the town center. A few points to improve though. Some of the staff come off a bit apathetic to the customers; not all, but I have seen this a few times over a number of visits. This isn't atypical for a coffee shop, but can be a bit out of step compared to the rest of Oundle. Also, the wifi is poor. Seems like a small thing, but if you are stopping in to plan the rest of your day, it may be tough to do so if you need the internet.
Very disappointed after reading some of the reviews. We visited on the day of the Xmas market but it wasn't to busy when we entered. So it was a bit odd that the service was slow. The biggest let down was the Latte. It was so weak it could have been a cup of hot milk. Prices were about average.
Great place to stop off mid ride for a calorie top off. Great atmosphere on a Sunday morning where there were groups from all over congregating. Good range of food, and good coffee too. Milkshakes are also well recommended
Gets busy on a Sunday morning (cyclists!), but friendly staff bring out your order so there's no stress. Large coffees are really that. Bacon sandwich well filled... but I'm suspicious the brown sauce is not HP!
