Outstanding from the time I stepped in to the day of going home. Surgery on time and went well. The surgeon and operating team were excellent. The care and treatment after surgery was amazing. My every need was taken care of day and night. The service was brilliant. A brilliant experience. High standards from the whole team. Communication was effective with a joined up approach. It was a happy team and I was treated with the upmost respect and dignity. I felt in safe hands with everyone. The food was lovely and everywhere was kept spotless. Overall in every aspect was outstanding.

I had to go in at short notice to have an x ray and see a consultant about a shoulder injury. First class service from arriving at the front desk to being seen within 19 minutes of arrival. All paperwork and follow ups sorted out without fuss. Lovely staff and very efficient care. Five star experience.

MISOGYNISTIC PRACTICE. AVOID IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY WITH WOMANS HEALTH ISSUES. Disgusting service from a female consultant. As a young woman with documented diagnoses of endometriosis and PCOS. I finally was in a financial position to make the decision to go private for a hysterectomy that the NHS wouldn’t give me due to my age and the wait times. I applied personally and stated why I wanted the (very expensive) consultation. I also explained over the phone why I had applied. However, when I arrived at my consultation I was met with shock when I said I would like a hysterectomy to relieve my symptoms. I was immediately told no, my partner was asked if HE wanted children. The whole experience left me in tears. When I complained to Spire I heard nothing back from them, however received a rude letter from the consultant stating that she “couldn’t possibly know why I booked a consultation with her”. If you want a recommendation to be taken seriously with women’s health issues I highly suggest Oaks hospital. They took me seriously and my quality of life has improved greatly due to them listening and helping me. Avoid Spire at all costs.

I decided to have lower eye bag removal (blepharoplasty). I looked to Spire due to being local a private hospital and expected high quality. Looking at the website quoting from price I booked a very expensive 30 minute consultation. I was told I was a perfect candidate for the procedure and a quote would be in the post. A week later the quote came through and was 50% higher than the online price. Shocked I emailed the surgeon asking why the price was so high based on the website price and that during my consultation no issues were identified. If I was a perfect candidate what puts the website price up so much. I received no response from the surgeon! I appreciate it says 'from' but do not trust the website prices. I wasted £240 on a consultation and went elsewhere to Signature Clinic. Free consultation, 3rd of the price and they were fantastic.

Previously I would always have given 5 stars, My partner had a brilliant consultant who really helped with her IBS. He is no longer available, and the gentleman who we saw next was a huge disappointment. One of the things you expect when paying at point of delivery for a service is to be listened to and taken seriously. The consultant did not seem to realise this, his NHS hat was prominently on display - move the patient through quickly and be dismissive about a problem you obviously don't fully understand. This was a total waste of time and money. We felt insulted and dismissed.

I've had a couple of outpatient procedures at spire Norwich. Very happy with the service I received. The nurses are incredibly kind and helpful and the after care was excellent. Reception staff very good, and the consultant I saw is absolutely brilliant, Ms Dhalia Masud, Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. The result from my surgery has been excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Just to say what brilliant treatment I’ve had at Hill House. I’ve had a Basal Cell Carsinoma on my nose removed by Mr G Koehler and amazing aftercare by nurse Tara. I can’t praise them too highly.

My experience so far has been amazing. I’m in so much pain with my back and going through the NHS would’ve taken 18+months. At Spire, I’ve been seen by a spine specialist, had an MRI scan, and had a round of X-ray’s in the space of about a week, and been added to a spine surgery waiting list (which is only a 10-12 week expected time period), which I think is incredible. The consultant has been extremely friendly, open and honest, and has instilled a lot of confidence in me, when he could likely tell I was nervous. I’ve had sound advice and really appreciate the support from the team here- I genuinely feel looked after, which is important when your health is at risk. You can also tell it’s a nice place to work as the reception staff are friendly and always seem to have a smile. When you walk through parts of the building you can see nurses are happy too, whereas my experience elsewhere has been pretty doom and gloom. It just makes for such a nice environment for a patient to be in and I personally really appreciate it. Spire has exceeded my expectations by miles. Really, really impressed so far, so please keep up the good work. You’re doing an amazing job! :)

I don't recommend it. AVOID Spire Hospital Norwich and seek professional help somewhere else instead! Where to start? First, employees can't deal with the insurance companies (the client's bill send back to the client's home address lol ) Although they had all the information from me, they sent the bill home to me twice (for me to sort it out)! Maybe you need to hire me and I'm going to do your job, how about that? Second, the letters about the appointments are never sent. They send you a stupid last-minute text message instead. The dumbest and most unprofessional organization I've ever seen!

“Very poor experience, and a feel Conned”. Contacted spire for booking a vasectomy, as NHS wait was 9months. I called and asked the rough cost and I was told £200 for a initial consultation then £7-800 for the operation. With this in mind, I booked the initial consultation as this was my max I was prepared to pay to forgo the long NHS wait and as other private clinics are charging around £500 this was more than enough I felt. Turned up for the initial consultation, the chap was 15 mins late, then I was pointed out the many possible negatives and not much about the procedure method, and I was told I would recieve a quote, but to expect a cost of 7-800 again by the consultant. I had to email the next day to then be told they do it the old fashioned way not the modern “no scalpel” less invasive way, anyway I said I would think about it, being put off by the method, and told them to hold off booking anything. Following day I recieved a booking confirmation, even though I had not been given any times/dates and had said not to book anything….. 2 days later I recieved a quote for £1815! So £2015 in total….Over double what they had originally indicated. Saying a price to entice customers to get consultations by giving false Information is not on, so I feel completely conned out of £200. I raised the complaint which I was told would be passed to a manager to look into but heard nothing. Joy and the reception staff however were very polite and professional, the consultant was rather blase and vague. Whole experience was woeful.
