Absolutely would not recommend to house sale or purchase. Quite possibly the most incapable firm I’ve had to deal with. Got the job done in the end but have had to chase at every single stage, poor communication, slow replies to emails (multiple days later after calling.) Exchange date passed with no explanation or communication, again had to call to ask what was happening and ended up speaking to the seller directly (their solicitors also had no communication and were left in the dark). Took Rohan an additional two days for them to reassign file to another solicitor (after more chasing). Disappointed as I was recommended them by a local estate agent but would have made no difference using a firm that wasn’t local. Unfortunately a terrible experience and would not recommend for house sale / purchase.

After a last minute decision to switch from the unresponsive conveyancer that the sellers estate agent had pressured me in to using, I couldn’t have been more relieved and grateful to have found Hannah Page of Rohan Solicitors to take their place. Since this was my first time buying a property solo, to say I was clueless would be an understatement and I seriously wouldn’t have survived it without Hannah’s calm, unflappable professionalism, incredible wealth of knowledge and helpful advice. I had a positive experience dealing with Alice when buying a property. I had previously sold a property with an online solicitor where I could see ever step of the way how the sale was progressing. However any concerns of not being able to see behind the scenes where short lived and Alice put much hard work into getting things moving in a good time scale especially as this was over a period of Nationwide lockdown. I would highly recommend Alice for getting things done in a timely and professional manner.
We recently sold and purchased houses using Rohans as our solicitors. Dealing with Alice mainly and also Hannah at times, they both couldn't have been more helpful, honest and polite. Reply times were quick, questions were answered in a way that a non-solicitor understands. They work very well indeed with PSP Homes (estate agent) who are next door to each other as well. The combination of the two is definitely a service I would recommend when buying/selling a house. A stressful time, was made as easy as possible with Rohans and will most certainly be using them again in the future whenever a solicitor is needed.
