Our Sale of our flat has had many challenges, but Lewis Denley (particularly Rachel, with help from Heather and Micaela) were always on hand to push the transaction forward despite this. Rachel (and indeed everyone) was always professional, helpful and courteous, and kept us in the loop as the sale went through, sometimes slowly through no fault of their own. Given the problems that presented, we are very happy with the way they conducted their services and again, pleased with the costs for this.    I cannot recommend Lewis Denley Solicitors enough! I contacted multiple conveyancing solicitors in September 2021, as I wanted to find someone local and these were the only ones in a close proximity to West Sussex that didn't seem phased by a leasehold purchase and were willing to act on my behalf immediately. Anna Stonham and Nichole Welch were an absolute dream, and kept communication going, throughout what was a 7-month process from my offer being accepted to completion and getting the keys. The receptionists and staff were always available by telephone and were patient when handling my calls and questions, and I always felt confident that everything was “in hand” and that my concerns would be quelled promptly and professionally. When the solicitor dealing with my case was on leave, the case was passed onto an alternative member of staff to keep things moving. I am really happy with my purchase and the property certainly may have slipped by me without the attentiveness of these ladies. Sincere thanks to the team at Lewis Denley.

   Our experience with Lewis Denley was excellent. During what we suspected to be a routine house sale and purchase, it transpired at the last minute that our buyer had been lying about not being part of a chain. This threw up a hornets' nest of issues and a lot of stress for our young family. Not only that but the buyer's solicitor was unresponsive to the point of negligence. Our vendor, tired of the delay gave us an ultimatum to exchange by the following Friday or they would withdraw papers. Our conveyancer, Leah Jeftha, was outstanding. Calm, diligent and conscientious, she managed to pull everything together and get us over the line in time while keeping us informed every step of the way. We have no doubt that without her acting for us, we would have lost the sale and the purchase. We would happily recommend her and Lewis Denley's services to anyone looking to move house.
