I went to the pub/restaurant for a meal with a friend. The place was clean, even though it was very busy. A table was found, the number was noted and food was ordered at the bar. The food was quick to arrive, brought by a friendly member of staff. Reasonably priced, from a good selection on the menu. We did not stay overnight, so cannot vouch for the sleeping accomodation. If the restaurant is anything to go by, the accommodation is probably to the same standard. Definitely recommended for an enjoyable meal. Good ambience. Located in the centre of town, convenient for shops and local transport.

Friendly and quick service. It would be a great place to go out with friends or family to have something to eat, sit down, and have a chat. Highly recommend!

One of the more pleasant wetherspoons I've been In. Ample amounts of space, giving the sense that other patrons are not invading your space. I never used the bar but the drinks were quick and clean. I was impressed with my Kronenburg pint. It's very obvious in the drinks that the bar is cared for and operated correctly (clean lines). I would recommend this pub as a great meeting spot or excellent for catching up with friends.

I have visited a high number of Spoons and the was honestly the worst food of them all! The good first, the location is in the middle of town and easy access the all the European shops!! The service was great and the drinks came almost immediately after we ordered, its is a large location and was a tidy pub. Now the bad! The pizza was the worst spoons pizza I’ve ever had, the base was like a crisp/ poppadom, far too crispy, burnt and the lack of toppings wasn’t great! The ham egg and chips was an extremely small portion and the first time we had been served 1 egg. I will never complain in spoons because it’s cheap as chips but this was the closest I have even come, the chips were good thou, but I can’t ever see somewhere messing spoons chips up.

It’s a lovely hotel with spacious rooms, and the bar staff were very friendly. We stayed there on a Thursday night, and it was pleasantly quiet. The location is convenient—just a 10-minute walk from the station—so there's no need to worry about traffic. It’s definitely a great place to stay at a reasonable price. In fact, while Premier Inn was charging nearly double, this hotel offered much better quality. I would certainly choose to stay here again if I visit Bedford in the future.

A Typical Wetherspoon- The Pilgrim's Progress, British Bar & Restaurant where you can buy pocket friendly food & drinks on a usual day. It has got all the traditional looks and vibe and is busy especially during common hours. Being busy, it lacks little tidiness of tables and staff are usually better at their service. Located in the heart of Bedford Town it can be easily located. Always filled with its regular customers and a great place to hangout for a chat over a drink or food. The food is delicious and the drinks are perfect.

I was overwhelmed by the friendly staff and the food. I really enjoyed my meal. Best Spoons I’ve ever been to. Decent pricing, affordable and good food. Definitely recommend, if we come down here again we’ll definitely stop by for another meal.

The best budget hotel I've stayed in for quite a while. Clean, spacious, very large bed, large walk in shower, plenty of tea/coffee available with some shortbread biscuits added. Also turned out to be the cheapest. Couldn't fault it.

Usually love going to wetherspoons! I liked the lunch I had, the chips were okay but half of them were uncooked.... The drinks were fab like all spoons drinks, usually the food is but on this occasion some of the chips were uncooked.. But other than that I enjoyed my time at the Bedford spoons and will be back.
