   We enjoyed a Xmas lunch with a group of friends. The service from Ruby and Aimee was really efficient, friendly and obliging. The food was mostly delicious - only the vegetarian Wellington was a bit disappointing. Vegetables were fresh and not over cooked.

   Lovely food. Would have been 5 stars for atmosphere if music had been quieter when sat down and if we didn't have to keep asking for it to be turned down, but after it was, the atmosphere was great (5 stars). We were particularly impressed with Jasmine, our waitress. Such a sweet, caring lady, she was very attentive to us and couldn't be more helpful! Nothing was too much trouble tor her, and she was very friendly, patient and cheerful and kept checking everything was ok. It made our visit very pleasurable and wanting to come back again.

   Really great sunday lunch at the White Horse. The roast beef was amazing! In a lot of places it will be tough and/or overcooked. Here it was fabulously medium rare and had great texture. The staff were friendly and helpful. They made us and our two dogs feel very welcome. The chef even came and gave the dogs some scraps of beef as a treat. We'll definitely be back here for sunday lunch again.

   Lovely pub for a meet. With some parking. Good choice of beer and spirits. Friendly helpful bar staff. Choice of outdoor seating areas. All on ground floor so easily accessible. Separate accessible toilet. Surprise party. Food was good though not sure if internally or externally provided. Really nice pub. Will return.

   Work Christmas meal, there was also a party of 60 people at the same time. Food still came out hot and tasted great. I didn't have the Christmas dinner but everyone else did, they all said it was excellent. Staff very friendly and service was prompt thanks for a great evening, meet Christmas.

   After a week or so lay off we visited the White Horse in Bedford. Quite a substantial dining area and a lovely fire burning to warm the place. Sue had her customary Fosters while I tried a 4.8% Legasy Pale Ale, which I'm sure I will try again . Lovely ambiance and helpful staff.

   Stopped here to grab a quick lunch on a Saturday a couple of weeks back. Staff were really welcoming and attentive. Both the indoor and outdoor areas seemed very well maintained plus there is plenty of parking. Lunch came quickly and I really enjoyed panini.

   Being a foreigner and not knowing much about drinks, I asked for Pimm’s and lemonade. But got a mixed “fruity” drink…..but not complaining, it was a very good drink. Didn’t eat, but the menu looked pretty good. Nice pub, recommended.
