    Popped in here for a quick drink before a Bedford Sessions concert. Staff were very friendly and helpful and it had a great atmosphere. Highly recommend. Prices were at least a 3rd of the price than the concert.

    Nice cosy pub with a lovely warm vibe. In the winter there is a lovely fire and fresh and crisp Guinness and a great selection of premium beers to choose from. Sporting events are always treated with great panache. Friendly and welcoming staff that work within the pub.

    This certainly has more of a ‘locals / regulars’ vibe and the decor could do with updating, but don’t let that put you off as it’s a friendly pub and nice enough for a drink. The open fire is great during the colder months and for catching up with the sport it’s a brilliant option. The bar staff were friendly and quick with the service, there’s a good range of drinks and the prices reasonable enough for the setting. It’s not really in a location you’d stumble upon, but I’d return if I was passing again in the future.

    This place was okay, went in for a pint of strongbow dark fruits with a couple mates, service was satisfactory, can’t complain about the strongbow, we went to play a game on the pool table however it was damaged to the point that it wasn’t worth paying for a game, sat outside to catch up with my mates and left after 10 minutes
