   ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend New Year’s Day than at the Prince of Wales. They looked after all 19 of us effortlessly, with warmth, patience, and genuine hospitality from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, nothing was ever too much trouble, and we were made to feel truly welcome throughout. The food was delicious. A huge thank you to the whole team for creating such a relaxed, enjoyable, and memorable experience…..we’ll definitely be back!

   We stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The waiter who took our order wasn’t exactly the most cheerful. We ordered three cooked breakfasts with hot drinks. They arrived without two items. We had to chase three times to get our full order. The missing items eventually came long after we’d finished everything else. No apologies from the waiter. The food was okay. The coffee and hot chocolate were very mediocre.

   Had Sunday lunch with a couple of drinks (approx £50) the food looked like it had been thrown on the plate by a child, it was only a small portion but it did taste okay although the veg looked like a microwave pack. Was made to feel quite uncomfortable after we mentioned this to the waitress, a man came over whilst I was still eating to explain that they have changed the plates. Not one person had a smile or seemed cheerful when serving/talking to us. We will not be going back there as there are much better places to have Sunday lunch in the area.

   The service was impeccable! All the staff were friendly and the place was clean and tidy. We had a couple of drinks and a shared muscle plate as we weren't too hungry. But it's was served quickly and tasted amazing. The coffee was really nice too. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely come back.
