   We were told by locals to avoid this place as it had gone down hill but we decided to go anyway. We was seated by a lady behind the bar and told how we could order. We went to order, to be told one of the things we wanted they didnt have (we could of been told this on being seated) the food was brought out fairly quickly but the kebab meat was quite tough and my partner didnt think much of his steak. Nobody came to ask if everything was ok until well after we had finished. The staff were all sat round a table drinking, even though there was dirty plates on tables. We was very dissapointed, the only plus side was it is a beautiful pub inside and out

   What a great bank holiday lunch sat in the sunshine in a beautiful pub garden. From the moment we walked in, greeted with friendly staff, great atmosphere. Family's, Hells Angels, Locals, Dog owners just super. Pub food in a safe and happy place. Loved it and see you again. Thank you very much

   The most terrible food we've ever ate! For the price of a good butcher steak we got the cheapest, uncooked!!! (It was not medium as ordered, it was just hard dry and uncooked)smelly steaks, there were only veins/greeze, hard as a shoe sole! Prawn cocktail was inedible. Soft drinks were hot and not fresh. Service is not good, not friendly waiters. The only one nice thing about the place is a garden. Do not recommend and won't come back.

   Came last week for a meal and because the service , atmosphere and food being lovely. We have now come back to celebrate my birthday. Gutted the mixed grill and sherry trifle cheesecake was not available.

   Great experience from start to finish, food was lovely, atmosphere was great and service was fantastic. Josh welcomed us in and was great throughout the evening, the rest of the team were just as good and were fantastic with the dog. We look forward to going back again soon.

   It's okay. Food was tasty and cooked nicely. It was quite difficult being our first time here to find the seating area for food which is located at the back of the pub. No staff were there to greet or show us when we entered so we just wondered until we found some tables with menus on them. Good came out in good time and was cooked nicely. What let the experience down was spending up to 5 minutes trying to find staff at the bar or a table to sit at for food and just generally feeling welcome when trying a new place.

   Absolutely disgusting service and food! Ordered 2 beef roast dinners, the carrots where shrivelled, the beef was burnt at the edges, the Yorkshire pudding was in edible, the potatoes were undercooked and had so much herb covering on them and just look at the wet soggy green stuff posing as veg! I complained, only to be told this food is precooked in the morning and kept warm during the day! Avoid this place! They should not be allowed to serve food!
