Do not use this company unless you want to be left out of pocket. Over a year on from the completion of sale on my previous property I am still awaiting money I am owed despite numerous emails to chase this. Each time I am fobbed off with a response that they have chased the money from my buyers’ solicitors and ‘haven’t heard back’ resulting in me taking the case to small claims court.
I’ve recently used Taylor Rose for a transaction of mine and the service I’ve received from Michelle has been top class. It was recommended to me that I use them rather than going for a solicitor based further up North who would’ve done everything electronically and it was the best decision I could’ve made. Michelle was always responsive, helpful and at the end of the phone when I needed her. Having a local office to me was also vital on the day of exchange when I had missed an important bit of paperwork for exchange. It would’ve delayed exchange for the whole chain so this saved a lot of stress. I’ll be recommending Michelle and her team to everyone I speak to.

Taylor Rose Worthing are ruining my life. For the past few months, they have refused to fill out a simple land registry application in order for me to sell my property. They should have filled this out a year ago. I can understand an oversight, but since September 2022 (it is now December) they have declined to fulfil their obligations, despite repeated requests and tearful phone calls. I stand to lose over £20,000 due to their negligence. I am absolutely devastated, and i would suggest everyone avoid this company. They cannot even be bothered to contact me or my legal representative.

Tried and tried to get Taylor Rose's web portal to work. Asked for help repeatedly to simply be told it had been passed on to the portal. No call to make sure it was working. Terse, snippy emails from a conveyancing assistant. No help, no respect. In the end we said, please fix this so we can move ahead or we'll have to change representation and we got literally nothing back. Not a word. Like they just couldn't have cared less. Just our opinion, but we wouldn't even vaguely consider using this firm again. They wasted our time and didn't provide a professional level of support.
We used the Worthing branch of Taylor Rose for the purchase of a house and had quite a poor experience. Throughout the conveyancing process their service was slow and we were constantly having to chase them to get work done. This is not unusual I accept however on the day on completion we had a pretty shocking experience. We completed on our existing property and while moving our belongings out we received a call from Taylor Rose to tell us that we had insufficient funds to complete on our new house. This left us in a state of shock as we now faced the prospect of being left without a home and having to pay the deposit for failed completion. After a couple of hours we received another call to tell us that they had made a mistake in their calculations. This catastrophic error then held up the whole chain by several hours causing us added costs for removals along with a lot of added stress and worry on what was already a stressful day. Luckily they had got their numbers wrong but it makes you wonder why they had only decided to review the numbers on the day of completion. We have complained to their head office and now have a complaint pending with the Finanical Ombudsman. I certainly won’t be using their services again and would not recommend them.
