Lovely meal, just as a traditional Christmas dinner should be with all the essential ingredients served in a comfortable, cosy setting. Great choice of real ales. Excellent customer service from all the staff. Nothing was too much trouble even though they were all very busy. Thank you - you're on our list as number one for our next meal.

Our family had dinner here last weekend and altough the pub was fairly busy we received our drinks very quickly. Also noticed a huge improvement at the restaurant under the new management. The service feels more organized and welcoming, and the food arrived in no time. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. It’s clear the team really cares about quality and customer satisfaction. Would definitely recommend.
Visited The Sunnyside recently and had a really enjoyable experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, even though the place was fairly busy. Food arrived quickly, was well-cooked, and full of flavour — classic pub fare done right. The atmosphere was relaxed, with a nice balance between lively and laid-back. Plenty of seating inside and out, and everything felt clean and well-kept. Definitely a great spot for a casual meal or drinks with friends. Will be coming back !
Had beef roast, ultimate bbq and some drinks. Roast wasn’t the best as the veggies didn’t taste fresh or done well. BBQ was quite good. The pub has a pool table and darts which was quite fun.
Today was the first time we have ever had Christmas dinner out. We had family member with major health issues and wanted to make this year extra special. I booked a table for 10 with Nina who reassured me that our time here would be amazing. It was awful. We were sat next to the kids play area next to a table with four dogs. (Dogs are meant to say in bar area). Our booking was at 2pm. We started to get food at 3pm. The food was cold. Starters and mains. A long wait for food and the door quality was poor. A couple of dishes were served then a long wait. Lack of cutlery. Nina was no where in sight. Several tables near us were also upset with food/service. Nina should have been looking after her staff, deligating/supporting the young workers. The only positive was that we were given a full refund but sadly our Christmas dinner was ruined. We didn't buy a back up meal. Sunnyside/Nina you should be ashamed!!!
Sorry but the place was filthy. The table & menus were sticky. I asked twice for a cloth to clean the table, but never got the table cleaned. They forgot about us. We couldn’t find the Sunday roast menu. We left after one drink. We had planned to eat there. But decided against it. Nice big garden. Big car park. Nice building. But it just wasn’t up to scratch. Not recommended. Not a #buddyfriendlypubs Or a rover’s return.
A good place for good value food. Service was very good. Pricing for special offers could be more transparent (for example, what is included, what you can have for extra, when the offers don't apply etc) but basically if you're happy to read the small print you can get a bargain meal.

Good food and friendly, helpful staff! We had the two meals for £12 which was nice food and good value. The outside was lovely with lots of space to sit and lots of space for the children to play and explore. We would definitely go back again.
