   I run a coffee group for Northampton u3a and we meet every Tuesday at The Cock. I cannot fault the cheery staff and the hospitality that they offer. We recently had our Christmas meal and Sam in the kitchen served up a lovely meal, portions were very generous and all delivered with a smile. If you want good pub food at very reasonable prices, you won’t do better than The Cock.

   Food stops being served at 730pm monday to Saturday. Food is really nice and a decent portion. Wheelchair accessis from the harbrough rd entrance to the pub. Wheelchair users can access all levels of the pub which is awesome

   Went there with a few friends. We ordered two half pints, a pint and a j2o, after we had literally just finished the drinks some rude man came over and had a go at us saying there is not alot of drink buying. Funny thing i was about to go to the bar and buy a round for us. His attitude put us off completely so we left and went to a different place (where we enjoyed the rest of our night). Apparently it's not the first time this man has been rude to people about drink buying. Will not be going here again. That man needs some serious social skills lessons.

   This is a lovely welcoming pub. Stopped off for a bite to eat because it looked like a nice place from the outside. Parking was ample, welcome was friendly and the food was delicious - hot and served quickly. The beer is great too. Will go back next time I am passing.
