   We held our nans wake here. We were pleased that we could have our own caterers as some places wouldn’t allow that. We pretty much had the pub to our selves for the few hours we needed it after my nans funeral. Selena is very friendly and nice we just gave her the heads up on the date so she knew our family would be arriving there. I would recommend this place for a wake especially as it is so close to kingsthorpe cemetery and there is no hire charge. There is a games room which is good for a game of pool which is 50p a game … There is a massive outside space as well which will be lovely in summer , and a heated decked smoking area. Live music events and karaoke nights … we will deffo be back for a night out .. Country pub Vibs in kingsthorpe amazing !

   Seems like a nice pub. Was empty when I visited for a quick stop. But £5.40 for Guinness zero was a bit steep! Plenty of seating, garden big and secluded with a small football pitch attached. Overall not bad but barmaid a bit snooty..

   Held a party at the Windmill for my two year old. They were great! A super helpful and experienced team. They made a buffet that catered to lot allergies including nuts. Highly recommend and will be going back.

   Great little local, been refurbished and is a lot cleaner than it was under the previous owner. Has improved massively and would highly recommend, no food yet as there are still kitchen renovations though there is a burger van outside, large garden and great sitting out there in the sun.
